Didn't see any semblance of it.

What I do know is, for such a great elite franchise, you had arguably one of the greatest players of all-time in your franchise, and you mustered up 1 title. Some would call that pathetic. Hell, Lebron was simply partying it up in Miami and stumbled into 2 titles in just 4 years.
Lebron part 2 here vs. Lebron in Miami is the most apples to apples comparison......Sure, Miami gets the edge with a whopping 1 more title. But do you think playing GS all 4 times here might have skewed this a little? Not sure we can blame the FO for Love and Kyrie going down in 2015 either.

In a total of 11 years having Lebron, that's just.....well, sad.
If you ignore Lebron would never commit making it more difficult to add players. when it was clear he was not going anywhere they went to the Finals 4 times and won 1.

If that was the case, why was Lebron not signing long-term deals in Cleveland? If cost wasn't a thing and it was such a stable franchise, for a player that's chasing Jordan, why didn't Lebron put his faith in thinking Gilbert could guide this franchise to more titles?
Here's a fact you ignore.....in his second time here his second deal was a whopping 1 year shorter than his current deal in LA.

could it be he went with shorter deals as he could maximize his earnings? Answer is yes, it could be...another fact.

Why would he hate Gilbert so much though? He's such a great owner that's willing to outspend every other owner in the league.
Yes, which was why he was willing to come back.

I don't care for the guy one bit but like him as an owner. Think Lebron's a douche, but still wanted him on this team.

starting to get it?

First of all. No GM wants stars more then Riley.

I said I don't want max players like Hayward who don't elevate you to anything.
Difference in scenarios is that when given the opportunity, Miami can recruit top FA's,
Cavs can't.

So even with the lure of south Beach they've done this once......just like the cavs.

Look at the roster for the first 7. Crazy he even got those teams to a Finals appearance. Then when he finally has a great team around him, the W's build a Superteam. Nothing sad about it.
Right...and also didn't help Lebron would not commit.

Agree. Certainly weren't going to be a contender, but were adding the #1 pick and had a ton of cap room and assets. I think a 7-8 seed was likely with no Lebron.

And, yes, way too early to know what they can do this time. I like what they've done but who knows.

Yeah, that's why I give them an incomplete. I grade them down because of the letter and Gilbert promising a title, then going right into tanking.

But I also get that the letter was more of an emotional response. What we don't know is if, once a little time passed if he switched to rebuilding because, despite the letter, that was really the plan all along...Or if he had no choice because no one was coming to Cleveland without Lebron there.

Either way, they were headed in the right direction and appeared to have fully embraced a rebuild before Lebron fucked it all up by coming back. lol

This time, we'll get to see if they can complete a rebuild.

But if you guys are such a great ran organization that I'm continuously being led to believe. Why did you have such a pedestrian roster around Lebron for so long?

Yeah, those Spurs teams Miami faced were real scrubs. And the OKC team Miami faced and beat had 3 future league MVPs (KD, Westbrook and Harden) on it.

Done what?
Heat have signed numerous top FA's , or gotten through trade.
That doesn't guarantee championships.

Cas were NOT even planning on James returning, hence the Blatt hiring.
Cavs success is totally correlated to lotto balls.
