DLo with 44 points, 27 in the 4th quarter. I'm happy the Lakers traded him to salary dump and he's no longer in the Kings' division/conference.

He and Randle combined for almost 90 in a couple recent games.

LeBron never missed that many games with Cleveland. They too were awful without him.

If LeBron doesn't get hurt maybe they don't push the AD button until the off-season. Those two events killed their season .

Didn't miss 20+, but did miss 13 his first year back. They did OK that year.

D Lo would be a nice fit for LeBron. He can take over when needed but also unselfish enough to defer

I think Simmons, Hield, Siakam and Murray should be locks

So I heard Jeanie actually was trying to trade LBJ when that whole AD debacle broke out...but no other GMs wanted to touch that with a 10 ft. pole. Possible the rest of the league is hip to him being a coach killer and/or GM killer? lol

From what was said out here by a local Lakers "insider", she never seriously considered it and no calls were made.

She was pissed that the AD trade request was made public and knew it came from Rich Paul and Lebron. Jeanie is trying to run the Lakers like her Dad did.
Dr. Buss never wanted any moves, whether they be trades, contract negotiations, etc. made public until it was already done. That's part of why Shaq was moved quickly. Once he went public with his "You gonna pay me now", his days as a Laker were numbered.

So, when the AD thing went public, that made her mad and she briefly considered trading Lebron because of it. But nothing was ever actually explored.

I am hoping that after the season, she gets everyone together, lays down the law, puts a stop to the bullshit and gets everyone back on the same page. Pretty sure that's what Dr. Buss would have done.
