You talked to them all? TT has already shown he can be at or a near double double guy and lead the league in offensive rebounding. Huge for a good team as extra shots mean extra points. could BAm do that? Maybe, but who knows?

TT has shown for how many seasons that if hes not playing with James that:

1. His team has sucked.
2. Nobody talks about him or even thinks of talking about him unless its non NBA related.

And if we kept Ingram.....he was showing before the injury, he could be an excellent player....maybe even a fine 3rd option next to James and Irving or whomever they bring in.

Why would salary matter in this?

You get much of TT's career he played with Kyrie, Love and that Lebron fellow? Might keep his scoring down a bit.

Beyond easy? Usual hyperbole.
per 36 numbers are really dumb as well. Guys get over exposed with more minutes and most backups play against backups. You can make some really mediocre players look REALLY good with per 36's.

plus TT is only at his salary for next year before he is up. Hes also a leader with tons of playoff experience. He would have been huge for the Lakers this year- would have given them some of the experience/toughness/rebounding/and balls that they so lacked.

as I said, happened all the time here. Didn't really see the entire court, but have to guess someone might have had a better shot than Lebron than the one that was blocked. Though I will say I preferred him going to rim as opposed to the 25 foot off balance shots he took in that situation.

If you were Lebron and saw Hezonja singling up on you on the final possession, you would try to bully him to the basket too, as would every alpha in the league. Lebron came up short this time. The final shot wasn't as problematic as not stopping a 13-1 run at the end of the game sooner.

The salary ALWAYS matters, and is what makes this beyond easy. A player on his rookie contract that gives you approximately the same production? Yes please.
It doesn't ALWAYS matter as this discussion was just whether or not Bam truly is a poor man's TT per Wiggy. Personally, I think they are closer than that but not a crazy comment.

I would....but I've seen Lebron pull up on Kyrie in this situation and not take him to the hoop.

didn't I say I was fine with him taking the guy to the hoop?

They are equalized numbers. TT has only averaged 28 minutes over his career, Adebayo 21.2.

Thompson has only played 35 games this year. He wouldn't have helped the Lakers at all.

The only salary that matters is what you would have to pay now. Can't acquire him this year, so that is next year's salary. You don't know what he and his agent will want next year, and if the Cavs continue with their current pattern, they will probably overpay him to stay, just like Love. Adebayo is under his rookie contract for two more years before he's an RFA.

The kicker? He's tainted by the Kardashian plague.

You basically said it was the lesser of two evils compared to a pull up jumper. Not exactly a vote of confidence.

shouldn't have said pull up jumper....seen him shoot a fadeaway 3 on Kyrie in this situation.

Wiggy said Bam was a poor man's TT. That's what was being debated. Not who could get moved to LA in a real trade.

I agree he is definitely more than a poor man's TT.

**Even though I'm a homer and always disagree**

Kevin Love > Klay Thompson

Klay > AD

Klay > Embiid

Klay > Giannis

Klay > Harden

Klay > Steph

Klay > MJ

Did I do that right?

Theyve both been starting the last few weeks.
If you dont watch, and don’t know, why comment?

The way Boston's season has gone.....Detroit would have a punchers chance.

Vs the Sixers? Sweep.

Yea the sixers with Simmons/Embiid is too big a matchup for the team as constructed as are the Bucks.

Raptors/Pacers/Celtics they can win some games.

If the Lakers finish the season 3-9, they'll officially become the worst team LeBron James has ever played on in 16 years, beating the 2003-04 Cavs when James was a rookie.

Not sure what to expect outta the Celtics in the playoffs. But whenever their season ends I know who I'm blaming. I'll give you a hint. He was born in Australia.
