First who the hell is BAM? lol

Secondly, Lebron doesn't make his teammates any better...Except some spot up 3 point shooters...
id say he makes them "better" but he definitely hurts their stats. No better example then TT....year before LeBron got there he was at 11 and 10.......year after LeBron left he is at 11 and 11--- in between his stats took a hit- but as i said- playing with a guy taking 28/8/8 off the board every night will do that.

Like I said...any team would take Bam over TT moving forward.
You talked to them all? TT has already shown he can be at or a near double double guy and lead the league in offensive rebounding. Huge for a good team as extra shots mean extra points. could BAm do that? Maybe, but who knows?

Early Maximum Salary Projections For 2019/20

Pretty close. I was going by 30% eligibility of the $109M cap, but it's different for same team or new.
yah the 4/140 is what butler or kemba would get from the Lakers....thats the initial 33M or so a year and then the annual raises which takes it to an average over the 4 year deal of just about 35M a year.

in the 2nd year where you would take his cap figure for 2020 free agency his number would be a little under 35 i would imagine.

the guy that signs in 2020 would start at about 36M a year but prob average about 38-39 over the course of the 4 year deal.

so if you, hypothetically signed Butler to a max this offseason- what you would be looking at for the 119 cap for 2020 summer would be:

Butler: 34.4M
LeBron: 37.5
Deng: 5

Ball: 8.7
Ingram: 7.2
Wagner: 2.0
Kuzma: 2.0
Hart: 1.9

= just about 99M

I don't think they are targeting Butler.

well they would probably prefer Kawhi, Klay or Durant- but if and when those dont happen i suspect they will go on to Butler and Kemba.

Butler and Kemba would start at 32.7 in year 1, but after annual raises the average over 4 years would be 34.75--- 4 years 139M.

though butler and kemba are far from gimme's as well

Per36, career (19/20 salary):

Edrice: 13.1 ppg, 10.4 rpg (3.4 orpg), 4.2 apg, 1.1 spg, 1.2 bpg, $3.5M
Tristan: 11.8 ppg, 11.1 rpg (4.3 orpg), 1.1 apg, 0.7 spg, 0.9 bpg, $18.5M

The decision is beyond easy.

I like how you guys talk about the East like it matters lol

We all know the Warriors will crank it up come playoff time and run thru everyone.

Here comes the part where you all tell me Im wrong, the Warriors are vulnerable this year, and the playoffs should be interesting.

Then when they steamroll everyone you will all act like you didn't say they were vulnerable.
They didn't steamroll everyone last year
Doesn't mean they won't this year of course

Left out Irving, huh? LOL

After what they talked about earlier this season and how things are going in Boston.....I could see Irving being the main target now.

Why would salary matter in this?

You get much of TT's career he played with Kyrie, Love and that Lebron fellow? Might keep his scoring down a bit.

Beyond easy? Usual hyperbole.

Only if they had someone else coming in. Otherwise, Butler slides right in as SG with Ball, Ingram, Lebron and Kuzma (unless a different center makes Kuzma a 6th man).

The salary ALWAYS matters, and is what makes this beyond easy. A player on his rookie contract that gives you approximately the same production? Yes please.

Wagner and Caruso are showing they might be solid backups one day.
