you are not counting yourself as a Cleveland fan are you? lol

Oh yeah that's right. In your goofy world I'm not a Cleveland sports fan because I never swung off LeBron jock like you & don't call the Cavs my # 1 team.

And before you start passing them out like candy on Halloween you go Rainbow Warrior!

There are 4 Cavs fans who post here pretty often. You, @Shanemansj13, @WiggyRuss and @lebron23james

Shane is the only one of the 4 who doesn't arbitrarily inflate the value of Cavs players by 150%. And it isn't just you guys on here.

I have a buddy who is a big Cleveland sports fan.

Case and point. My buddy has absolutely crushed OBJ pretty much his entire career for his antics, calling him selfish and a team killer. He was even knocking the Giants when they recently extended Beckham's contract.

As soon as the trade went down he reversed course 100%. Now he is all about OBJ and "not at all worried about the antics".

So yeah. Pretty small sample size, but you Cleveland fans seem to do that stuff more than any other fan base I have seen.

And I get it. It is a natural tendency to overinflate the players you love and you are passionate about your team. Which is commendable. But it is damn hard to have an objective conversation about anything Cleveland related because you guys just aren't rational when it comes to your teams.
This is true when it comes to most fans.

To lump me in is a bit off base, but whatever. Sure, I think Love is better than most might think, but I've supplied logic, facts and reason to support my case. Always thought he might be the best player in the NBA to play with Lebron and this was true before we had either of them. Is he better than Klay? I could definitely understand thinking he's not, but being called nuts by some for thinking he's better than Green? I'd say those people are more off than thinking I'm a homer.

In addition, have never liked Lebron so not sure how I can be lumped in with the homers. Sure I wanted him to stay since it helps my team win, but have never liked the narcissistic, passive aggressive, drama queen antics.

When it comes to trades and picks I'm the one who will almost always say wait and let it play out (especially with picks as who the hell knows.....we aren't scouts?).

Wow, it's almost like fans of teams support players that our on their team, and don't support players that aren't

Case and point. Go back and read all the negative lebron james comments on this board by lakers fans when he played on Cle and Mia. Compare that to today...

Cavs fans have been to 4 finals, and won a championship. That is a pretty successful stretch. We will see how these lakers season go, but so far it's been a disaster. If Cleveland surrounded Lebron with these "playmakers", i think you would be blasted them all season...

Your takes are about just as atrociously bad, and you don't even know it is the funny thing. You have said John Wall and Kemba Walker are better than Kyrie Irving. You think Green is better than Love, because he plays on a team with 4 all stars. What take do you have that is actually rational?

As for posting here a lot, even that isn't right. I don't even have 3k posts!
That has always been my issue with this so far. You are 100% correct. No, I don't like Gilbert much, but do appreciate what he did to help our team win a title with an obscene will to win. Yes, probably made some mistakes.

But you are correct, he'd be getting blasted - and rightfully so - if they made the moves the Lakers have made. Lakers have been rebuilding for 6 seasons, added Lebron, and might have a worse record. Cavs rebuilt 4 seasons, added Lebron and went to the Finals. Yes, weaker East, but #1 team as opposed to 10-11? Come on.

Oh the old "admit your gaffe" stuff. So let me get this straight. I didn't agree w/ you on that topic so I've committed a gaffe right? Get outta here. Thanks for the laugh though.
No, if you want to get it straight you claimed you "want the player who is a great shooter over the big who is an OK shooter) yet cannot man up and admit you made a general statement and wasn't solely Love-Klay.

If it was, you'd have said "I want Klay as he's an exceptional shooter as opposed to Love who is a big guy but not as good a shooter".

But maybe the self proclaimed Autistic One will come to your rescue again?

One last time. I already said I was only talking about Klay & Love. What do you not understand about that? Oh never mind. I've already asked you that question but you refuse to answer. So do what ya gotta do.
I do understand.....now that you changed your position after being shown how foolish your original comment was. But you'll make me out to be the bad guy because you couldn't man up and say how foolish it was.

No worries....that's who you are.

Kind of ironic that nobody outside of the Cleveland fans agrees with him either.
not really as most outside (or even inside) Cleveland think Draymond is better than Love. Majority is not always right ya know.

It's obvious you don't understand. You're the one that said I would take Klay over AD or Embiid. When the fact is I never said anything like that.

I was only talking about 2 players. You know this. Klay & Love. But you insist on making up your own reality for some odd reason.

I'm done w/ this topic. I keep saying the same things & you keep ignoring them. No reason to continue. I'm tired of it & my guess is so is everyone else.

sorry but you said it.......I will take the elite shooter over the big who can shoot a little implies you'd take Klay over AD.

Apologies if you didn't say always, but that was how I remembered it.....still implies Klay over AD though.

sorry but you said it.......I will ALWAYS take the elite shooter over the big who can shoot a little implies you'd take Klay over AD.

ALWAYS doesn't imply one instance.

I give up. You're gonna believe what you want to believe. Which is fine, but incorrect. Would I take the shooter always when only comparing those 2 players? Hell yeah. What do you not understand about that?

You've now tried to pull this nonsense on me twice & have been wrong. This current topic. Which you've been repeatedly been incorrect about because you won't listen. And your ramblings that I said Ty Lue's a bad coach. Just stop this game of yours.

oh i am aware you equivocate most things and are too big a pussy to make actual predictions. lol I am sure either way you would have touted how you were right.

No,

I make predictions all the time. Unlike you though, I don't go all in on absurd proclamations saying things like:

"If JaVale McGee averages more than 8 points a game I will fly to Mars"

Or

"I will cut off a testicle if LeBron signs in LA without a 2nd star"

And the difference is that I don't have to take your quotes out of context because you actually said this stuff.

When I believe in something, I state it.

But there were a lot of questions that objective fans had about Colin Sexton, hence the range of outcomes. Most questioned his scoring efficiency and playmaking ability. He has answered most of them appears to be firmly on the Kemba Walker track. But that wasn't a given before the season started.

To be fair, actual predictions are why you are currently living on Mars and only have one nut. :dhd:

Seriously though, you need to stop with the "if you don't make a prediction, you're a pussy" bullshit.

When evaluating a players potential, it's not about making predictions as much as it is about looking at the player and assessing several potential outcomes.

You have actually used that yourself many times talking about players.

Talented players like Sexton always have a range of potential outcomes. With Sexton, his rookie season has shown that there is potential there. It also has shown the holes in his game. Which is what happens with every rookie.

So far, just looking at his improvement from the beginning of the season until now, he looks like he may have the work ethic for him to eventually get to the higher end of his potential.

However, he's also about to have his first off-season as a millionaire. So, will he be one of those guys who spends the off-season working on his game? Or will he be one that spends the off-season travelling and enjoying his money?

The obvious work that he has done during the season tends to indicate that he will put in the work. But, that doesn't mean the latter isn't possible.

You should have said Cavs fans, not Cleveland fans. But I agree w/ you.

Sorry.

Notice that I didn't put you in that group. You are quite rational when posting about your favorite teams.

Maybe not when it comes to Duke though.......

Ok, but said I was wrong you said Ty was a bad coach and apologized. so what did I pull?

If that's what you meant you worded it poorly. No biggie.

Can't seem to recall you ever admitting you were wrong though...at least not with me.

Damn straight.

It ain't you, everybody else is crazy.

lol
different when it's something that can be backed up with facts or something so obvious. But thinking a 5X all star who is one of the few 20-10 guys who can make 3s could be better than a guy who is an elite wing shooter and solid defender and not needed to do much more isn't so nuts.

does this mean you also think Green is better than Love too like most?

Nance was a scrub till he got to the Cavs.

Imo, they are closer to equal than one being particularly better than the other.

I think Draymond is a better defender, better ballhandler and more skilled at running an offense from the post than Love.

I think Love is a better shooter, a better pure rebounder and is at least as good a passer.

I also think that they each fit the system that they played in during the height of their success better than the other.

If they switched teams, neither the Cavs nor the Warriors would be as good as they were. It would hurt the Cavs more because the Warriors still have 3 other all stars.

I don't think that Green would fit with Lebron nearly as well as Love and I don't think that Love could do the things for the Warriors that Draymond does.
