Pretty much a must win game for the thunder tonight in Denver if they have any shot at the 2 seed.

Yeah Thunder need to avoid Utah in round 1 if possible.

Thunder are 3-0 again st them this year but yeah avoiding them wouldn’t hurt my feelings.

2 of those wins were by 1 point.

Utah seems to play them really well all the time

Would not put any of this shit passed Klutch.

BUT, damn.....

Talk about rampant, early and unfounded speculation.....lol

In the summer of 2021, after that option season, Simmons would be an unrestricted free agent; his mentor on the Lakers would then be 36 years old, and likely looking for a steady hand into which he might pass his franchise’s torch—or, if Klutch is able to make good on their recently failed efforts, another star to share it with Davis.

It is clear that the Lakers’ president of basketball operations, Magic Johnson, is extremely into the prospect of this particular future. Simmons himself appeared to wish for it during the 2016 NBA Draft Lottery—in One & Done, he is shown watching the broadcast of the event and miming his hypothetical reactions if either the Sixers or the Lakers got the first pick and the right to sign him. When he imagines the Lakers getting it, he celebrates; when he imagines going to the Sixers, he shrugs wryly. Earlier in the movie, a Lakers blanket is visible in the background of his apartment. Currently, he dates L.A.-based famous person Kendall Jenner. You can decide what this all means.

Nope. I dont live in the past

But I am enjoying the shit show in Laker land though
tied for 10th, 11th in the West and 2 games under .500 at the end of February.

in my wildest dreams i never would have imagined it would be at this level

i thought htey might miss the plyoffs if it took like 46-48 wins to make it

its gonna take way less than 48 wins- if it took 48 wins it would be over right now.

We shall see.

I still think that LeBron will find a way- esp. with the Spurs kind of sucking, the Clippers dumping at the deadline and the youth of the Kings.

LeBron missing the playoffs would be insane- but there is definitely a solid chance at this point.

FWIW, I've always sort of wanted to see a star guy on his rookie deal turn down the extension just to see what would happen.

Porzingas was headed that way.

But he also had the very real threat of leaving the NBA to play overseas.

Can't see Simmons actually doing this. Would be a really bad look for Klutch too.

I honestly see it happening. And players are going to start seeing Klutch for what it really is.

When Lebron retires, Rich Paul's not going to have much pull in the league.

I thought this was an article about his 3 point shot.....

It's a great clickbait article, but it will be all academic once he signs the extension.

This is just click bait.

Simmons may eventually leave Philly but mind reading based on the lottery is more than a little ridiculous.

Not even Wiggy is taking Love over Klay.

Sorry, you on you own here.
then he doesn't understand the game either. 20-10 guys who can make 3s are more valuable than guys who can shoot, play a little D and not do much else.

That is because they had Durant. How much impact would those 3 have had if Durant was on Cle in the finals instead of GS? Not much

Lets face it if Kyrie and curry are close and green and Love are close...the decided factor is Lebron...It's why a healthy lebron, love and Irving would never lose to Curry, Green, Thompson ever, even if they have HC
No doubt about this. If the Cavs added Durant after 2016 they could have won as many games as they wanted in 2017 during the regular season. could have named their score in the Finals, as well.
