If I was drafting a top 8 I'd pick Lebron #1 and it's not close, Curry then Kyrie (and those 2 are close), Love, Klay, Green, Barnes then TT.

Next would be Iggy, JR, Bogut, Shump.
lol what is your bromance with Love about?? You'd draft him before Klay? Seriously? Klay is a better scorer AND defender.

Bogut was missed more than most want to admit, imo. He was pretty much all the Warriors had as far as interior defense.
He mattered, but I think this is exaggerated some. Guy played 60 minutes in 5 games, so he sat 3/4ths of every game. How important could he have been to them?

Games 6 and 7 were not pivotal? And what about Games 1,2,3 and 4? You know the 6 of 7 games Green did play. Even when Bogut played the guy was in maybe 10 minutes/game. We are not talking Love missing every game and Kyrie 5 of 6 here.
Game 5 was pivotal because they were on track to win that series if they had won that game. You know, as in up 3 to 1 games thus far. Come on friend, keep up.

Well, for one thing Klay is not a better scorer, so there's that. And Love is also a better rebounder and probably passer, as well.

You are really taking a wing player who can shoot and play a little D (and not do much else) over a 20-10 big guy who can make 3s? Really?

He sat during the death lineup, which was by design. And having said that, the minutes he played was very important.

It was a big game, no doubt. Game 7 was kind of big, too. So were games 6 and 3. Green played in and lost them all.

First off yes, Klay is a MUCH better scorer than Love. Second, Klay is MUCH healthier than Love. Third Klay plays better defense than Love. So, again I ask, what is with your bromance for Love?

So clearly you don't understand what pivotal means so we're just going to leave this right here.

Not only that but he was a high post facilitator that Curry used to come off dribble handoffs and create space. Bogut was an amazing passer at the center position, set great screens and was an overall plus to the lineup on offense. He was one of the biggest reasons that Steph and Klay were able to get so many clean looks, pre-Durant.

Bogut got hurt in game 5 and the Warriors ended up scoring 97 points that game. Game 6 they scored 101 and Game 7 they scored 89. Also not really coincidental that Steph and Klay had horrible shooting games in games 6 and 7, imo.
They also scored 90 in Game 3 WITH Bogut. Again, not saying he didn't matter, but if he was as needed as you say maybe he plays more than a quarter when healthy?

remember when some lakers fans wanted to give LeBron the MVP?
When the Lakers were sitting at the 4 seed it wasn't so laughable. Remember when Toronto shat themselves every time they faced him in the playoffs? It happened a lot so it should ring a bell.

not THIS one...

hell, one of the things Stephen A. brought up this morning was "is he even still the best player on the planet" anymore...

as i said before , Stephen A's a complete moron, but he did rap off a few names(Freak and KD specifically) that he thought were better at this stage...
This may be the year he gets equalled, maybe not fully passed by. Had to happen sometime.

How many teams do you know wouldn't be impacted enough to lose games if they were missing one of their starters in a playoff series?? lol

OK, but he sat 3/4ths of the games when he was healthy....by design.

Here is his plus/minus in the series

Game 1 -8
Game 2 +10
Game 3 -21
Game 4 0
Game 5 -6

Total -25

seriously?

I have no words for your level of incompetence here, and can only hope someone else tells you how foolish you are.

you get we are talking about 2016, right? McFly?

Gives them better options than putting Festus Ezeli out there for the closing 6 minutes of game 7. You don't think he could have helped facilitate a bucket where the team basically didn't score for the last 5 minutes of the game?

Again, it's not so much volume with Bogut, but he's a game changing option for them.

Having every weapon at your disposal is vital in a championship series.

Here's one definition - Of crucial importance in relation to the development or success of something else.

Seems like a Game 7 might be a pivotal game in a series for the title. winning Game 7 is OF CRUCIAL IMPORTANCE to winning a title (the something else) And, yes, so is game 5.

Yes, he meant so much when he was on the court GS was outscored by 25 in the series.

But, hey, you used an "lol" to end your foolish comment, so you've got that at least. Maybe you can shake your head or add an irrelevant GIF/meme next time.

seriously?

I mean that's part of the story.

His defensive rating for the series was 98, when the Warriors team average was 109.8. That's a significant difference. His offense alternately wasn't as good either at 92, but defensively there's no denying he was impactful.

Also take into consideration who gained his minutes, Festus Ezeli. He was 89 ORTG and 110 DRTG. Mo Speights was 83/107. Andy V was 101/119.

Bogut was the best C position player the Warriors had by a WIDE MARGIN. Even if the optimal play was to go small, not having your center there just eliminated any possibility for the alternative.

Excuse me, you're correct because I forgot we're grading on a curve...since one of them didn't even play in all 7 games in that series. Hell, one of them didn't even start all of the games they played in that series. Would you like to take a guess at which one of them that was???
