Speaking of the Knicks it would be funny if they had the same record as the Suns w/ one game remaining & played.

The Cavs have been playing damn good basketball lately. They've won 3 of their last 4. They keep that nonsense up & they'll play themselves right outta that # 1 pick.

They don't want Zion now that he went and got himself hurt.

Which doesn't change that the Bucks have won 70% of their games against the West and have the largest point differential in basketball by a wide margin. If the Bucks were in the West how many fewer wins do you think they would have?

The difference between the 2 conferences boils down to about 3 or 4 times being compartively worse in the East than the West.

That's my point about the Bucks.

Maybe they have 41 wins instead of 45 but there would not be a huge difference in their record. Same goes for Toronto especially when you take into consideration how good their record is even with Kawhi resting so frequently.

Boston is the only team of the 5 that I think we would see a difference in their record. Something is wrong with that team and they don't come to play every night. Seems like they're almost waiting for the playoffs

And Milwaukee, Toronto,Philly, and Boston would still be top teams if they played in the West.

Let's quit acting like they're only really good because of the conference they play in....especially not Milwaukee, Toronto, and Philly

You don't win 45 of your first 59 or 44 of your first 60 simply because you play in a weaker conference

Nobody is saying otherwise.

Milwaukee and Toronto would be in the mix for #2 seed, but it would be a battle for sure.

And Houston's record is completely irrelevant because how many games have they played with a healthy team? Maybe less than 5?

But my point is that the top 3 in the East are comparable to OKC and Houston. Not definitively better. And Boston is probably closer to Denver/Portland/Utah because lets face it, they just haven't played well consistently.

Nope

You really think Denver can beat any of the 4 in the East in a 7 game series?

Same question for Portland?

Please show me where I have included Denver in my top teams conversation?

I have very specifically said Houston and OKC.

Denver is next tier down, but Boston is probably there too.

And Boston very may well figure it out and beat everyone in the East come playoff time. They have the talent to do it.

But I am not betting on that.

Denver is 1 more player and probably a year away from being a serious threat. I could see them losing in the first round to be honest.

So is your top 4? I was going 4 against 4 basically so Milwaukee, Toronto, Philly, and Boston from the East and Denver, OKC, HOU, and Portland from the west.

I excluded the Warriors for obvious reasons.

They play differently when they play the top teams in the East which makes me think they'll be very scary in the playoffs.

Sure.

That probably is the next 4, but Utah is just as good as Denver and Portland.

Are Philly and Boston better than them?

Philly yes for sure. Boston should be, but they aren't.

And while I get taking GS out of this, I think should really be 4 vs. 3 because they are very much there. And I do not think Boston would defintely beat any of those 3 teams in a series. Portland, Denver and Utah would all have a very good shot against them.

If Boston played a West schedule, there is a pretty good chance they would be in that 6-7 range.

Yesterday was a game I would have liked to see Jimmy step up for.

Are you ok with him walking if they sign back Harris?

I think Harris fit better with them since he doesn't need the ball in his hands as frequently as Jimmy

I don't think teams are trying to tank more now than in the past.

And?

The point was that it was supposed to stop tanking, instead it's made tanking more interesting because now fans follow the playoff race and the tanking race.
