Exactly why you shouldn't make stupid assumptions. Pretty much what I meant when I said buying a house is not the only way to take care of a parent and/or your family.

There would be tough times and he’d just be, like, ‘Mom, don’t worry. Just give it a few more years. I’ve got you.’ When he got his first NBA paycheck, he sent me money. He’s very big on taking care of his family. This year, he paid for Gabriel’s braces (his younger brother) and helped pay for his siblings’ cars.”

Good to hear. I don't think I was really assuming anything, though, just wondering why he purchased a $5 million home a year ago and has now decided to sell it so he could buy his mom a nice house.

Good for him. Took advantage of the FA bubble last season.

I still don't think his overall contract is bad. Just that those fucking nets backloaded it like crazy. Based on the season he had this past season, 4 yr/50 mill doesn't seem like a stretch at all. I would like it much more if it was spread out more evenly like Waiters contract is.

I guess it would be a mess to do -- but it would be nice if they allowed teams to match but gave the teams some latitude to structure the contract differently.

Yeah that would be nice lol. Probably never happening though.

It really illustrates the difference between this year and last though.

Tyler Johnson and Ian Clark are comparable players. Johnson got 50 million, Clark got 1.6.

It is a risk, but only a mild one. They kept their core, only really giving up Beverly. They weren't challenging GS as they were previously constructed (don't think they are now either) but at least the CP3 trade helped them ink Harden long term.

Also, having Harden longterm and Paul on the roster will increase the value of Rox when they are sold.

He should have kept that little nugget to himself.

Does he really want to be traded? Or maybe just wasn't getting enough attention?
He's a unusual Dude.

I think he's trying to force his way to the one Team he knows Lebron won't go to:

The Spurs.

But, he has no leverage and they have no tradeable assets.

Pop wont tolerate those Klutch Sports strong arm tactics.

So, having to share the court with Lebron again wouldn't be something he'd have to worry about.

Not sure why any team would expect that. You still would have him under your control for at least 2 seasons

She is from H Town and they are worth a billion.

As long as they don't bring in the Kar-trashian clan and Kanye as minority owners, maybe she has a shot?
Aren't they still all on the outs?
