I don't think you guys fully comprehend how bad he was last year. He was arguably the worst guard in the entire league. I had to watch him play the last 2 months of the season. It was awful. His shooting makes Derrick Rose look like Curry.

Limited sample size trying to adjust to a new team and learn a offense. He played in just 23 games and got 16mpg. Did he suddenly forget how to play basketball?

When he was with NY, he averaged 9ppg and 5apg off the bench. Sure, he struggled shooting (just 27% with the Wizards) but he also averaged 4.7apg in the same 16mpg. That's almost 10 per game if you double his mpg.

Please, don't think I'm saying he's a starter.....he's not. But, he can still be a productive backup for 18-20mpg. But, this summer was a BAD TIME to be a FA PG in a loaded class.

36% over 2 full seasons. That is not a small sample. He doesn't defend very well either. Trust me when I tell you he is done.
