But, they could finish ahead of a few Teams in the West just by virtue of being in the LEASTern conference and playing dog shit rosters 4 times a year vs. the Goliaths that teams like the Suns will have to face.

They could.

But, at the same time, there is not a single terrible team in the West that I can think of. Lakers Suns and Kings should all be a lot better.

I simply can't envision a scenario where the Nets are anything but a bottom 5 team. Bottom 3 is probable. The only thing they have going for them is that tanking won't help, so they may try to win some games.

But, at the same time, there is not a single terrible team in the West that I can think of. Lakers Suns and Kings should all be a lot better.

I simply can't envision a scenario where the Nets are anything but a bottom 5 team. Bottom 3 is probable. The only thing they have going for them is that tanking won't help, so they may try to win some games.

Yeah, grudgingly agree unless Russell, Levert, Crabbe take huge steps AND Lin and Carroll bounce back to what they were in Atlanta, NY.

I think the Nets will have a better record simply because the East got worst while the Western conference teams that were top heavy got even stronger; this is why I think the Suns and Kings will have a worst record than the Nets. You could likely include the Magic in there as well.
