They signed him for 2.1 mil. Now if they cant get a PG in return for Kyrie than he becomes more valuable but they still got DRose for a messly $2 mil. That is a steal for a guy signed to be a bench player who has started his entire career

Oh, I agree. If he can stay healthy and play at the level he did last year before he got hurt, it could be a great move.

If Kyrie ends up staying, it should be easier for him to stay healthy. He averaged over 32.5 minutes per game last year. In Cleveland, with Kyrie (or another starting quality pg), he'd only be needed about 20 minutes per game.

Even if he gets hurt again, at $2 million, it's a no brainer to bring him in.

Notice that he didn't actually deny anything.

That's what's telling to me. There are no denials by anyone. Usually, when stuff like this comes out, there are denials even if it's true. With this, there have been none.

Sounds like he's denying the report that he feels like beating Kyrie's ass... but yeah, no denial of Kyrie's trade request.

I agree with trojan, there would've been some strong denials by now if there wasn't something there.

Varying degrees of former, lol. Rose is more like "six degrees of Kevin Bacon", lol.

If you were the Grizzlies would you consider taking Kyrie, TT, & 2 future 1sts for Conley & Gasol?

It would basically be a concession and looking to re-build around Kyrie. The move would position them way under the cap.
