With Cleveland's downfall happening a season earlier than expected, time to put some money on the 76ers to win the Eastern Conference. 25-1? Easy money!

Lol downfall? Even if you just cut out Kyrie out of the picture and bring 3 or 4 decent guys in the Cavs are the 2nd best team at least. I guess it is a downfall considering they are usually a lock for the Finals

It was a joke. You seriously think I'm going to put money on the 76ers to win the East?

Westbrook as an "elite distributor"? Yeah, that's a bit of s stretch.

Having said that, with his talent, if he wanted to be an elite distributor, he could absolutely do it.

I am not so sure.

He is a phenomenal athlete and a relentless competitor. The thing holding him back from being truly elite (LeBron level) is his decision making. I think a lot of that stems from court vision and basketball IQ, which I don't think are strengths for Russ.

You need to see the game at a high level to be a great facilitator. I am not saying Russ can't ever get there, but I honestly doubt that he will.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I don't he'll ever get there either. There's a certain amount of being an elite distributor that comes from just naturally seeing the game differently than other players (even other great ones). Part of the reason Magic's coaching career was so short lived was because he couldn't understand why the guys he was coaching couldn't see what he saw on the floor.

I do think though that he could learn enough to be an elite distributor, but he's not getting to the Magic, Lebron, Nash, Kidd level.

I also don't think he'll ever be willing to focus as much on distributing the ball as he would need to in order to get there.

I dont iike the idea of Kyrie on the C's but they wouldnt be winning anything if the Cavs got IT and Crowder.

IT
JR
Lebron
Love
TT
Drose
Jeff Green
Crowder
Frye
Korver

The depth would be pretty damn good. And the C's would have Kyrie, Hayward and Horford, that just isnt enough.

Derrick Rose is the steal of free agency. I am a little bummed.

I kind of liked Rose for the Spurs, but I figured he would be wildly too expensive.
