Ingram has potential, but that's all he is right now.

PG13 is a great complimentary piece, and outside of Wade would be the most complete all star player that Lebron's ever played with.

I don't see the Lakers getting rid of Russell AND Clarkson in that type of scenario, but one would be surely gone given that PG13 could be rotated amongst the 2/3 positions, while Bron can take up the 4.

the Kobe scenario all over again at his age...

People keep knocking LeBron for Finals losses. Maybe he is sick of that. If he goes West, he won't have to worry about that anymore.

Seriously though, if LeBron had played his entire career in say, Memphis. He would be still probably have 3 or 4 rings, but he would certainly be undefeated in the Finals. Would that make his legacy better? I think not.

It's give and take. He's had his bad losses in '11 and '14 (having a lopsided loss like that when you beat the team the previous year is bad). But his Finals record being the end all be all is narrow-minded.

Congrats @Mecca !

First big win of the off-season for the Clips. Hopefully Jerry can help you guys sort out who goes and who stays.
If nothing else, it shows that Doc is willing to stop stepping on his own dick.

Or

That Ballmer is sick of the futility and made him.

Either way, nice first step towards getting it right.

You use Finals records or rings as the determining factor, the tie breaker, when all other things are equal.

Otherwise, Adam Morrison 2-0 > Jerry West 1-8.

See how ridiculous that is...lol

Lebron, Conley, prime Gasol, Prime ZBo and prime Allen could get a ring or two.

2 short years ago, Marc was the defensive player of the year and the best Center in the NBA.

That Team certainly could have beat the Mavs Team that won the title.

You're adding lebron to the existing roster without factoring in the consequences. I doubt Memphis would fit all those guys in the cap.

I respect the hell out of Woj, but I just don't see Lebron going to the Lakers.

If he did though, I think Russell would be moved. Clarkson has a very good role coming off the bench. I don't see Russell being cool with coming off the bench.

You are subtracting them without knowing if it was necessary.

Gasol was a 2nd round pick acquired via trade.

Zbo was a salary dump acquired via trade.

Tony Allen only makes 5 mil per.

Conley only got paid last year.

So, why wouldn't they?

How high are you to think he wouldn't?

He would not have gotten there every year, obviously, but if you simply took the Cavs/Heat roster and placed them in the West they would have been a top 3 team every single year since 2009. Those Heat teams would have made it through the West at least twice in 4 tries. When they got there, they would have won easily.

You are forgetting, they still have to beat the best West squad once they get to the Finals to get a ring. LeBron has done that 3 times.

Would that team beat the Warriors? Or the Spurs?
