The Bucks need another piece.

A shooter or at least a defensive Center that can score a bit.

Philly might have enough to challenge the Cavs if Embiid is healthy.

On talent, yes. I don’t think the 76ers have the experience or veteran leadership to beat Cleveland in a 7 game series.

You think someone is going to offer him a max?
Maybe a desperate one like Dallas.

I don't believe this particular rumor unless it's on a one year make good deal.

The restricted-free-agent market might have more realistic targets for the Spurs. Aaron Gordon and Jabari Parker are intriguing options; the Spurs could fit either into their cap space (even if they extend Leonard) if they choose not to re-sign any pending free agents and the players with options decide to test the market.

Someone definitely need to take a shot at Parker. Bucks cap situation is so they very well might not pay him. And even with his injuries, its definitely worth the risk of rolling the dice on a top 2 pick this young.

Westbrook became the first player in Nba history to average a triple double in more than one season.

@WiggyRuss

Off topic, but if memory serves you are a Browns fan.

Aren't you a Browns fan too @Wamu?

Question: I'm starting to hear that the Browns are liking Josh Allen because he's big and can throw the ball a country mile. Some are saying they may take him over Sam Darnold.

What do you guys think? Smokescreen? Real interest in Allen? Who do you think they should take? Allen, Darnold or go in a different direction and take someone like Saquan Barkley?
its going to be a QB at #1 that is for sure.

From what I hear the Browns are deciding between Darnold and Allen.

If it was up to me I would be deciding between Darnold and Rosen.

At #4 who knows what they do--- i would be fine with taking either (i) Chubb, (ii) Barkley, or (iii) trading down with Buffalo with an eye on getting Denzel Ward or Minkah Fitzpatrick hoping one of them fell.

Its crazy the Browns have two top 5 picks and 3 2nd round picks. Hopefully after signing a lot of solid but not great free agents they are finally building a decent core to move forward with.

A dline with Garrett, Ogbah (a guy we took with the 1st pick of the 2nd round who played really well), and Chubb could be SCARY.

I usually like to bag on Cleveland sports. But the Browns need to start becoming at least respectable.

In no way am I touching Josh Rosen; that's a given. Kid's frail and those types don't do good in cold-weather towns, which last I checked Cleveland classifies as much.

I'm absolutely not touching Josh Allen. I've never been too caught up with QBs with strong arms. At the high school level, you always go for a QB that displays accuracy; you can work on arm strength and fundamentals later. You can't teach accuracy along with QB intelligence (ignore camps and focus on game film, does the QB panic?). Josh Allen has the biggest arm. He reminds me of the Hurricanes QB - Rosier. Big arm and similar type of build (Rosier's shorter), but zero accuracy and is overly non-consistent.

I think the Browns get Darnold and Barkley. They do that, they'll be fine and on a good road to being relevant.

Thoughts @Wamu and @WiggyRuss ?
I would be happy if they took Darnold #1....if I had a gun to my head that is the QB I would take.

At times I have been thoroughly against Allen- and sometimes less so.

My "dream" scenario is taking Darnold #1, trading back to #12 with Buffalo and still getting Denzel Ward- and then taking the best LT with the extra 1st rounder you get from Buffalo---- and then im sure youd also get at least 1 more high pick from Buffalo as well.

As i said in my last post---having two top 5 picks along with THREE 2nd rounders is just insane. If Dorsey makes the right moves he can really set up the team.

If Chubb is there at #4--- getting him in there with Myles Garrett and Ogbah would be very very interesting as well. That is the making of an absolutely insanely talented Dline and each guy would take pressure off the other.

I think Chubb will absolutely be there. I think the scenario you presented though in trading back is probably ideal. Because I forgot Joe Thomas retired. Cleveland's got nice skill players now in Gordon, Landry, Duke and Njoku to couple with a competent QB in Tyrod Taylor (merely a stop gap at this juncture). But those skill players are useless if your QB has no protection. This is where Cleveland's GM has the spotlight on him now. You hit on these picks and you could be a playoff team in 2-3 years.

Can't see Vogel staying on the market for too long. Should be picked up soon.

Agree on Darnold and Rosen, imo...that should be the decision. I don't really understand the Allen love as much. Kid has a cannon for an arm, but he's not very accurate.

A lot of people are concerned about Rosen's attitude. But he's also the most "NFL ready" of the QB's. Kid was making Sunday throws on Saturday.

Darnold talks like he WANTS to play for the Browns and probably has the best demeanor. His playmaking ability is probably the best of the QB's, but his ball security has to improve.

I hope whoever they get works out for them. They could get a solid foundation going with all of those picks.

Damn, you think Doc gonna get the boot?

I'm ready to go full rebuild.

Fiz, Marc Jackson, Jeff Van Gundy gonna be the top retreads available.

I wonder if anyone will touch Kevin Ollie.
