Laker fans are circling the wagons.....
That was such a pussy move by Clarkson. Saric should have slapped him
At the rate the Lakers are going....their draft pick will barely be a lottery pick.
Mecca, I think you need to just go on and become a Lakers fan, since you dumped the Clips. Seriously, seems like the most obvious play. And they have a fun core and a bright future...
33-35 is still within reach.....
Heck, if they keep winning at their current pace, 41 is still within reach. I don't think they get there, but I didn't think we'd see a 17-6 run either.
Yeah with the way they been playing, a 14-7 run to end the season isn't out of the picture by any stretch
Yep, you nailed that in your prediction.Heck, if they keep winning at their current pace, 41 is still within reach. I don't think they get there, but I didn't think we'd see a 17-6 run either.
The young Lakers core has been maturing a lot over the last 25games or so.I certainly underestimated the quality of the tanking that's going on.
The bottom 9 teams below the Lakers are a combined 18-72 in their last 10 games!
And there's the Nets....![]()
And just 6 games out of the 8 seed.Heck, if they keep winning at their current pace, 41 is still within reach. I don't think they get there, but I didn't think we'd see a 17-6 run either.
And don't tell me it's an unwritten rule.
On the previous play, the Cavs got an easy dunk.
It looked like they were still trying to foul, except the ball made it down to Dario, who simply dunked, nothing flashy.
Furthermore, they took a 3 pt shot at the buzzer.
If you want the winners of the game to lay down, losers should do so first...

Both players were wrong.
With less than 24 seconds left and the game won, the unwritten rule (whether you want to hear it or not) is to dribble out the clock because the game is already won.
The losing team taking a shot at the end of the game has never been a problem because the game is already won.
Having said that, Clarkson had no business reacting like he did either. It's not like the Sixers player threw down some windmill dunk or something. So it didn't look like he was trying to show them up.
And just 6 games out of the 8 seed.
So sad that he can't even enjoy this opportunity afforded to him without somehow feeling shamed at the same time.@bksballer89
Yeah, it's a Shitshow of monumental proportions.
Allegedly, The little one is miserable.
I think he will be the one to break free of Lavar when he comes of age.
His pass to Gelo in the post misses its mark. It’s Melo’s second turnover and, worse, the second time he fails to sprint back on defense afterward. He does not even bother to jog to half-court. Coach Seskus has had enough. He subs Melo out.
Melo walks off the court. All his frustration seems to evaporate as he high-fives his teammates and calmly takes the first seat on the bench.
But something’s coming. I hear it now.
“YOU CAN’T DO THAT TO HIM! YOU CAN’T DO THAT TO HIM!”
It’s LaVar. His voice grows more forceful.
“PUT MELO IN!” LaVar yells at Seskus.
The gym falls silent and uncomfortable in a way high school gyms can.
Back in the silent gym, Melo’s eyes remain frozen on the court. He doesn’t glance over at his father, who won’t unscrunch his face. Melo doesn’t sink his shoulders or say anything. By the looks of it, he’s waiting for the ending credits. When it’s all over.
LaVar continues to grin. A couple of fans walk up to Melo and ask for autographs. He obliges and breaks into a big smile. The cameras are on.
He has to be on.
But as the fans walk away, I watch Melo’s smile shrink and then disappear. He looks down at his sneakers. It seems like he looks sad, though I don’t know what he is truly feeling or thinking and may never.
I just think Lowry is a big part of their problem. He obviously thinks he's better than he really is and won't stay in his lane. I think if they found DeRozen a better side kick they'd have much more success.Sure last year Derozan and Lowry were dead tired before the playoffs started. This year they are playing much less due to the depth and strength of the bench. This team is not the same as last year. Not even close. This is the best Raptors team they have ever had
