Lauren Holtkamp is the female ref that Draymond called a Bitch and her HUSBAND is a NBA referee too?

Yeah, nothing can go wrong there....lol

How many Dudes here are capable of being objective when coming in contact with an individual who did that?

Not saying it's not possible.

Just saying I couldn't do it if it were my Mom or daughter...lol

Married NBA refs Lauren Holtkamp and Jonathan Sterling

She's a terrible ref. Just absolutely awful.

It's weird but I think this is one of the worst officiated seasons I can recall. This doesn't just pertain to the Warriors but to games I've watched on national television. Just a lot of head scratchers and flat out blown calls.

The Players need to be accountable for how they act. But the refs need to be held accountable too for being pretty bad as well. I feel like I used to see clips of refs telling players "my bad I missed it" or "I didn't see it, but I'll look for it next time". But more frequently, I see the refs just ignoring the players. I get their job is hard, but communication works both ways.

They need to act more like two entities working together rather than a parent/child relationship.

I agree with this but players need to do a much better job in terms of how they approach the ref. There is a good way to approach a ref and get your point across and there is a bad way.

Yeah, neither party looks great in this. Approaching the ref like a petulant child is ridiculous. You're a grown man. You're upset with a call voice it reasonably. KD has really toned it down after his outburst, but Draymond still needs to get a handle on his shit. If I used to hate on CP3 for doing it, I gotta be consistent and not give Draymond a pass either.

The NBA is going to make changes on this in the offseason. It's almost equivalent the soccer players diving that's how bad it's getting.

Yep. Unfortunately this is who Draymond is and will likely never change. No surprise KD toned it down as he wasn't a cry baby when it comes to missed calls for most of his career.

I hope so. They need to have a symposium with player representatives from the teams and also having the refs go out to the teams to explain any rule changes or major enforcements that probably were overlooked in the past. Every year the NBA alters the rules slightly and those I don't believe are communicated well. It's kind of like a trial and error learning in the preseason. It would help relationships from both parties to understand what the refs are looking for and why they're calling certain things more tightly.

Yeah, his attitude is a blessing and a curse. It's what makes him great, but also what makes him volatile. If he didn't have that dog in him he wouldn't have turned out to be such a great player. But that dog in him makes it so damn tough to control.

Being 6'7" from NBA scouts saying he'd be able to carve out a nice career overseas to others saying he couldn't guard anyone in the NBA, he's had to fight his way to show he belongs. But that fight takes him to extremes.

Kind of would be a fun exercise to think of players who attitudes were both a blessing and a curse to them. Top of my head:

Allen Iverson
Rasheed Wallace
Draymond Green
Dennis Rodman
Charles Barkley
