Crissy Collinsworth has a son that made the NBA?
OMG.
OMG.
Putting someone on the AS team who missed nearly 20 games in the first 45 games or so is borderline stupid.
You're basically eliminated from being selected as a reserve once you miss a certain amount of games.
Just wanna take this time to say......
I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!
He really didn't. I'm a huge Whiteside fan. I don't think any Heat fan will say Whiteside deserved it this year. He also missed a bunch of games.
yeah i think him being out so long was a bigger factor...
ah well, it gave y'all a chance to give Bam some playing time...
Mrs. Tf12 is GANGSTA...LMFAOSchools have gotten ridiculous. When she was in high school, my stepdaughter was attacked from behind and defended herself only to the point that the threat was over. She had taken karate growing up and did exactly as she was taught. She could have done serious damage to the girl who attacked her, but chose not to.
The following Monday, I had to go by the school to drop something off and I see my stepdaughter going into the vice principals office, visibly upset. So, I go over to see what the hell is going on and am told that she is being dealt with over the fight after the football game and that I was to wait outside until they were done.
My response? "Bullshit, if you're going to be trying to discipline my daughter, I'm going to be there."
Needless to say, I stayed. The vice-principal asked what happened my stepdaughter told her she was attacked from behind, that the other girl had come up started slapping her and that she took her down, banged her head on the pavement a couple of times and then held her there until a couple of teachers came and broke it up.
VP says "One week suspension."
I said "No, this was self defense. There were several witnesses who saw the whole thing. Every one of them said it was self defense."
VP says "there is a "zero tolerance policy" on fighting."
I said "So if a kid is assaulted at school they are required to just stand there and take the beating until some teacher or yard narc decides to break it up."
VP says: "Slapping isn't assault."
I said, "Really? So if I reach across your desk and slap you...that's not assault."
VP says, "The suspension stands and in the future, I'll deal with the mother."
I said "Deal with the mother? I want you to remember you said that."
I tell my wife about it. We get right back in the car and head back to the school. My wife barges into the office and let's just say that words came out of her mouth that I didn't know she knew. The principal even came in to see what was going on.
After my wife got done, the suspension was lifted and VP apologized. As we were leaving I looked at the VP, smiled and said "I told you to remember you said that. You didn't realize that I'm the calm, rational one...did you?"
Awww shit. DJ got into his Dad's liquor cabinet again.
KUUUUUUZMA DIDN'T MAKE THE AS TEAM??????????
I'M DONE WITH THE NBA!!!!!!!!!!!
Whiteside speaking facts @Heatles84 @TurnUpTheHeat @Mecca
Not posting the entire article. Just the good stuff.
Before the Heat was snubbed in All-Star selections, no team in 25 years had been in the top four of the Eastern Conference and not had an All-Star at the time of selections.
And that left the Heat’s Hassan Whiteside perplexed.
“You know, it’s confusing,” Whiteside said Wednesday of the fact that bunch of teams with worse records than Miami had players selected for the All-Star Game. “I get confused about it sometimes. Is it about stats? Or is it about winning?
“Certain guys, they say, ‘Oh, he’s winning. His team’s winning, so we put him on there.’ Other guys, he’s got good stats but his team sucks. So what is it about? I just [need to] understand what it’s about.”
Whiteside believes it’s also a byproduct of the Heat’s lack of national television exposure. Miami has had only ESPN appearance this season, against San Antonio, and had another telecast (against the Knicks) replaced by a Boston-Minnesota game. Miami has had no TNT appearances this season.
“It got a lot to do with it,” Whiteside said. “The NBA pushes teams. The NBA pushes guys. The media pushes people. There’s teams all got Christmas games that stink, so I’m not going to say what teams, but you all know those teams that shouldn’t be playing on Christmas. But a lot of NBA teams push guys into starting.”
All-Star snub leaves Hassan Whiteside feeling Heat is overlooked, unappreciated
No. Visit him 2 times a month.
Not during the week. Work Monday through Friday so not visiting dad tonight.
I stand corrected.
I will amend my post:
"Awww shit. DJ got into the bottle he lifted from his Dad's liquor cabinet the last time he visited him again."
Mrs. Tf12 is GANGSTA...LMFAO
Clipps vs Celtics bet, @Mecca?
C's are on the 2nd night of a back to back, my sweet baby backside......
WOW...Shenanigans...
"He lacerated his hand on glass in the hotel, got stitches," Stevens said. "I don't know the full story. We're learning more about that. (Assistant general manager) Mike Zarren and (head of team security) Brian Dolan were with him at the hospital two hours ago (when he) got stitches. It doesn’t sound like a long-term injury, but we're doing more research on how it happened."
When pressed about the specifics of how Smart suffered the injury, Stevens did not want to reveal any details just yet.
"Obviously, I want to make sure that I'm thorough in telling you how it happened and what happened. But again, I think that he cut his hand in the hotel on glass sometime (Wednesday) afternoon," he said.
Stevens was unsure how many stitches Stevens received at the hospital.
BSJ Analysis: This sounds a little bit fishy for good reason.
