LIGHT HIM UP!! LIGHT HIM UP!! LIGHT HIM UP!!
Again, either light him up or block him
The West is loaded in the Guard and Forward slots, every year there's gonna be at least 3-5 guys left out who you could say deserved a spot. Also being in the West makes it very difficult. West is loaded at the Forward slot.
You got Durant, Leonard, Aldridge, Towns, Cousins, Griffin, Butler, Gasol, and Jokic.
I just don't understand...the worst possible shooter taking the last shot w/ the game on the line & only 1 point was needed to win? SMH
I don't know. Looked pretty good against the Celtics.
I have no problems at all - I am doing good - you don't know shit about me - so stick to your own business
Whiteside speaking facts @Heatles84 @TurnUpTheHeat @Mecca
Not posting the entire article. Just the good stuff.
Before the Heat was snubbed in All-Star selections, no team in 25 years had been in the top four of the Eastern Conference and not had an All-Star at the time of selections.
And that left the Heat’s Hassan Whiteside perplexed.
“You know, it’s confusing,” Whiteside said Wednesday of the fact that bunch of teams with worse records than Miami had players selected for the All-Star Game. “I get confused about it sometimes. Is it about stats? Or is it about winning?
“Certain guys, they say, ‘Oh, he’s winning. His team’s winning, so we put him on there.’ Other guys, he’s got good stats but his team sucks. So what is it about? I just [need to] understand what it’s about.”
Whiteside believes it’s also a byproduct of the Heat’s lack of national television exposure. Miami has had only ESPN appearance this season, against San Antonio, and had another telecast (against the Knicks) replaced by a Boston-Minnesota game. Miami has had no TNT appearances this season.
“It got a lot to do with it,” Whiteside said. “The NBA pushes teams. The NBA pushes guys. The media pushes people. There’s teams all got Christmas games that stink, so I’m not going to say what teams, but you all know those teams that shouldn’t be playing on Christmas. But a lot of NBA teams push guys into starting.”
All-Star snub leaves Hassan Whiteside feeling Heat is overlooked, unappreciated
So who deserves to be in the All Star Game more? Take 2 out of 3.
Player A - 20.9 PPG, 6.2 RPG, 3.0 APG, 2.1 SPG, 0.4 BPG
Player B - 20.4 PPG, 4.0 RPG, 2.5 APG, 0.7 SPG, 0.6 BPG
Player C - 11.3 PPG, 7.8 RPG, 7.5 APG, 1.3 SPG, 1.3 BPG
The fact that the Heat are sitting in the top 4 in the East and don't have any all stars is kind of a compliment (for lack of a better word), imo. It means they are a true team. Good enough to be in the top 4, but no one player stands out above the rest.
Either that, or the East just sucks. lol

True. The only AS caliber player we had in the first half was Dragic but I will be absolutely livid if Ellington is not invited to the 3 pt contest. He is 3rd in made 3's. Only behind Harden and the splash bros
He wasn't All Star caliber this year
So....fourth?
Whiteside deserved it more than Al Hoford.......gimme a fucking break.
