I think they will manage his body well.

He's a little plumper than usual.

So, he might be sturdier longer.

It's his temper that could get him in trouble.

Yea I've noticed that he's seemed to be on edge lately. Why? He asked for a trade & got what he wanted. He's playing on a winning team & has MUCH MORE help than he's had in ages. I'm so confused as to why he's so aggressive.

Hey now! Finally finished up our move all while being sick - was the best/worst last few weeks if that's possible! LOL

Simmons seems to be doing really well & as good as he played in the post season last year I thought for sure they'd like to keep & develop him similar to what they did with Leonard.

Yeah, moving blows.

The Spurs thing with Simmons was weird.

They didn't even make him an offer and Orlando got him for 3/18.

Unreal.....maybe they are saving money for this Summer?

I'm glad to be on page 500 of this almighty thread, my contribution is that if the wizards lose to dallas tonight, after that players-only meeting they just had which apparently caused more problems than it resolved, they will fall to 12-11 on the season against sub-500 (get the theme?) teams, which for supposedly a contender in the east is pretty unbelievable.

They are one of the teams in the nba that really needs to come together and talk out their issues, retry whatever "meeting" just happened, and also to stop saying stupid things to the media that get them in trouble...

I'm not saying he's a good to great QB....I'd say he's average but he's not trash. He's not the reason they lost. It was 2nd and 9 (or 3rd and 9, can't remember) with a few minutes to play and the Pats were going to run......Lewis got a first down. The Jags defense didn't make a stand when they had to.

The owner loves BB (saw that on the pre-game show earlier in the postseason when they were discussing BB possibly being replaced), it's not a done deal they let him go.

He isn't average though.

There are multiple NFL players on record saying that Bortles is trash. I challenge you to find 1 other QB players talk that way about. Players never go on the record like that unless it is obvious trash talk or the player is really held is extremely low esteem by his peers. In this case, it isn't trash talk.

You get it. I'm convinced that the Jags could win a super bowl if they could sign Brees in the offseason (highly doubt it) or to an even lesser extent - Eli Manning (depending on how much he has left in the tank). I'm taking a QB within the first 3 rounds if I'm the Jags.

Alex Smith and Kirk Cousins are the two likely available options that could take them there.

Yeah.

I hate to say it, but I think our Wizards fall more into the "pretender" category at this point.

They have the talent to turn it around, and with Cleveland in apparent free fall anything is possible in the East, but I have a hard time seeing them going beyond the second round.

Certainly possible. Jacksonville's bread and butter was their defense; which they return just about all of it back. They just need a slight upgrade at QB. Cousins and Smith would give them that.

I have a lot of accounts in a lot of places, some of them new, some of them not so, this being one of the newer ones, and i can say there is no place where I have more frequently been either mistaken for or compared to other posters than here. I can't tell you how many times in the few months I've been here someone has asked if I was so-and-so from the past. It's almost becoming a new ritual for me over here lol!

Just heard it on sports radio 2 minutes ago. Waiting for confirmation but the hosts (Chris Carlin & Bart Scott) say it's a done deal.
