In the end, Lebron's going to fuck the Cavs similar to how he fucked the Heat. Lebron strung the Heat along while quality free agents were being picked up. Once all the tier 1 FA's were picked up, he went back to Cleveland. Even though he knew full well that he was leaving months prior.

Now, Lebron knows he's not going to stick around again. This team is a mess and has little wiggle room to improve without major roster changes. You think Lebron's going to want to hitch his wagon to IT who's about to be 29 and in his next contract is going to be making $25 mil per year?

Cleveland better keep that Nets pick. Because Boogie or Deandre ain't helping you against the Dubs.

One major difference though.

Miami actually had a shot to get some of those high profile FAs. Cleveland has no shot unless LeBron is there.

He definitely screwed Miami. But, if he did the exact same thing with Cleveland it would make absolutely no difference in the grand scheme. They will be relevant if he stays and will be forced to go full rebuild if he doesn't.

Man, the NFL is laying the shit on thick in case the Patriots lose.

" He was screaming out in pain, which he never does.".

" His hand was gushing blood. "

Good grief.

They make it sound like he had to get it amputated.

The Cavs are in a bit of a catch-22, imo.

On the one hand, they are definitely in championship now mode, so because of that, they should be doing anything and everything they can and trading whatever picks/players are necessary to win.

On the other hand, they are looking at going into a full rebuild as soon as Lebron leaves (possibly as early as this off-season) and those assets, especially high draft picks, would be great to start the rebuild with.

If Lebron would commit beyond this season, I'm sure the Cavs would start offering everything they could.

But Lebron won't commit.

So, do they make moves as if he's staying, knowing that if they don't win the title, he's likely to leave and they're left with little to rebuild with?

Or do they stand pat, hope that the current roster can get things figured, also knowing that he's gone if they don't...but at least having some nice assets to move forward with?

LOL.

Didn't see this until after I wrote mine. Exactly.

And let's be honest, this is all just misdirection and Brady will be fine and it's just to lull Jax into thinking they have a chance.

Gronk gonna make Ramsey cry.

I would love to see Jacksonville vs. Minny.

But, Pats = Dubs

It's inevitable.

I want them to win so bad.

But.......Brady....lol

It's funnier to hope Brady's "injury" has something to do w/ a rubber glove & Robert Kraft's rear end. Maybe he was looking for his next signing bonus?

I'm not even sure LeBron knows where he's gonna be playing next year. But it wouldn't surprise me if he waits until the last possible minute to figure it out.

My guess is that he has a pretty good idea. At the very least, he has a list of about 3, maybe 4 teams and he's just waiting to see how things turn out for those teams and what moves they are willing to make.

I don't know.

Jacksonville looking pretty good. If not for the mini penalty melt down to end the 2nd quarter, they would be in full control.

I won't bet against Brady, but JAX looks like the better team so far.

Huge kick. Could have been a game changer if he missed.

Yeah that sounds like the game plan he'd use. Wait until he figures out which team will give him the best opportunity to win another ring. Because it sure ain't happening in Cleveland again.

I just noticed you've been here over 7 years. Have you gone the entire time without an avatar?

You're right. Just never felt the need.
