Everybody was the wrong choice of words....several have said they can win 6-7 rings.....

They can.

If the core stays together the next 7 years. They can win 6-7 total. That doesn't mean they will. I said they can.

I've done a very similar commute in the past. All I can say is...enjoy the 91. lol

I'd invest in a transponder so you can at least use the carpool lane.

Are you serious?

Lu-Krissa lives there. I would go there from Long Beach and spend the weekend.

Leave 3:45am on Monday to head to work (thinking I was getting a jump on everybody else)......get to work in Garden Grove around 6-6:15am.

Yup, Bought my first house in the Ville.

I lived off the 15 and Bear Valley Rd.

Took me 1 hour tops.

I'm sure you can do the math on how fast I was going.

Only thing I hated about moving to Arizona was having to give up my confidential plates.

Rookie Mamba was 17. Rookie Kuzma is 22. HUGE difference.
No difference we we're only looking at the # of NBA seasons they've played as rookies. And that IS what we were talking about.

Suffice it to say: comparing Kuzma to an all time great is.... questionable.

(to put it mildly)

I had a feeling he wouldn't be Kawhi straight away. That's obvious. I was just happy to see him back on the court. Now, if they could lift this minutes restriction, lol. I just wanna see him how he was last year. I'm impatient.
Can't argue this. I think the Spurs have done well considering he wasn't available to start the season. Maybe the silver lining is him being out gave LA & Pop the opportunity to hash out some things & have a clear understanding going forward.

You seriously think this?
Yep. I think he's a really good SCORER. But, that doesn't mean there isn't room to grow. He already does things that vets do when they need to score. That's pretty rare for a rookie - even if he's played in college. As mentioned before though he should try to work on other aspects of his game - like defending.

Oh I agree if we're trying to compare things like stats. I said the one thing they have in common is neither were starters as rookies - and that Kuzma could end up surprising most just like Kobe did. Not sure how that has ruffled some feathers.

It's coming across like you're saying Kuzma is on the same track as Kobe... like he has that kind of potential. From an offensive standpoint, anyway.

No need to add another forward to clog up the minutes though, especially one that isn't a 3pt sniper. This team needs shooting in the worst way.
But they need a PG - and he fills that role nicely as the back up now. I honestly don't think Lonzo is going to be a franchise player. But, he could surprise me if he decides to work on his game - EVERY piece of it.

Dude, we almost signed him...lol

Beverley isn't exactly iron man material either.

So, he works.
At least Beverly has functional knees, ankles & a brain.
