Everybody seems to be thinking this W's team is going to win so many titles.....there's a reason no team has emulated the Celtics dynastic run. It's because it's just not that easy to do.

No one's said that they're going to string together several titles in a row. In fact, some Dubs fans think they could eventually lose Klay Thompson or Draymond Green. But, they've won 2 of the last 3 titles and were within a ball hair of three-peating. To say they're not the favorites with their roster constructed as is is foolish.

Yeah exactly. I'm not going to say they're going to win the next 4 titles in a row but would anyone be surprised if they won the chip in 2 or 3 of the next 5 years?

The 2nd time this season the Lakers had a shot to beat GS in regulation. Give it to Kuzma!!!

That's the thing, though... is Kuzma really a guy you give the ball to and get out of the way?

Everybody was the wrong choice of words....several have said they can win 6-7 rings.....

Agree.

I think I might have ptsd.

Because whenever they play I team I like, I immediately curl into a ball and hope for a honorable death.

Idk I guess Ingram is the guy but don’t you want the ball in the hands of the guy that is hot that night. I think Ingram is the guy usually but they need to find their closer.

On that Team?

Yes.

I get that he's older for a prospect.

But, I don't see why he can't be a Danny Granger, Rashad Lewis type of player.

Obviously, that's best case scenario.

Not a Superstar. But, a nice rotation guy.

No.

Very good role player on a good team.

I disagree. A role player doesn’t average 17 ppg 6 rpg as a rookie. Maybe he will be a very good role player but he is 22, I see him becoming a much better player and that isn’t a role player. He is the Lakers most consistent player so I guess the Lakers only have role players...

Ingram is the guy with the best shot to be a perennial All star.

On this young team, I'd be okay if anyone, sans Lonzo, was my closer.

Kuzma's been a nice surprise and is having a good season... but he's not an ISO or 'lead dog' type of player.

Which is no shame at all. That's just not his strength/role.

When you consider the fact that the Lakers play at a high pace (LAL average the highest FGAs per game in the NBA)... it's not so crazy that they'd have some inflated offensive stats.

Ingram is the closest thing they have to one right now. But, it will be whatever free agent (s) they lure to the Lakers in the off-season.

Good player on a bad team......put him on a good team and he's a role player.
