He's a lot like Kidd as a rookie.....hate to bring that up but it's a fair comparison, they are very similar.

I think he'll figure it out and shoot a decent rate eventually.

Kidd didn't need to score.

If he did, he likely would have averaged more points.

Lonzo does most nights. Yet, he looks petrified to try.

That's the difference between the two.

Outside of maybe 2 or 3 games this year, last night certainly being one of them, Lonzo has been inexplicably PASSIVE.

That's not a word that has ever been used to describe _Ason.

Define nice?

At least one of Rich Paul's clients will regret turning down lucrative deals last Summer.

I don't see either getting more, Noel most certainly will get less.

Unless you are being packaged with LeBron, Rich looking like a false prophet.

I think his expectations will come down and he may get 4-5 years worth 60-75 million. Basically, 15 mill per.

True. He needs to be more aggressive......I can agree with that.

....and that's it.

His boards and dimes are sensational.

He's unselfish.

He just needs to stay engaged and to believe the next one is going to go in.

Which one?

KCP has been really good.

I was wrong about him.

His problem will be cap space will be tight and Teams don't want to sign the next Evan Turner, Allen Crabbe, Biyombo, Bazemore GALLINARI.

The good news?

His biggest competitor is Avery Bradley.

Lou Williams and Redick are better offensively.

But, they are older and not on the same level defensively.

Interesting.....if he could devlop Martin's numbers......he'd be a flat out stud with his passing and rebounding.....However, I doubt he gets that good.

I'd settle for 40-41%, 33-35%, and 75%.

Agree.

I'm just happy to have a recent precedent that shows he CAN get better.

Some people act like it's hopeless.

Yeah....it would be one thing if he was just average at rebounding and passing but he's much better.....and defensively he's improving a little....

I don't know, man. I watched Porzingis twice last night (the game, then the replay of the game). First time I've watched him that close. Dude is the truth. Can shoot from anywhere, has handles, can pass, plays defense....

and he's 7 feet tall. He looks a lot like Dirk to me (love me some Dirk too), only with better defense.

End of the day, can't go wrong with either guy, imo.

Porzingas is a fantastic player. My Giannis pick is more about the state of the league than it is the players. Both are ubertalented. If we were having this discussion 20 years ago, you would take the big if in doubt. It is exactly the opposite today, IMO. Perimeter players, especially big wings that can do it all are literally ruling the NBA right now.

I want as many of those guys as I can get on my squad.

On their best day, who do you take?

Giannis, Porzingas, Embiid, or Towns?

The more I watch Embiid, the more fascinated I am with him. What he does at his size should be illegal. Him doing a full speed eurostep is just ridiculous. Then he has a post game with post moves. He has a great handle for his size. He's got range and is a good 3 point shooter. I mean, he literally does it all. If he continues to be healthy, he could be one of the greatest talents the NBA has ever seen.

He still needs to work on ball security more which is more about minutes played than anything else. That is his biggest flaw so far.

definitely Embiid IF he could stay healthy for a significant amount of time...

Hey what's going on? The Lakers need to get rid of Walton & replace him w/ Lavar. They do that & they'll be a lock for 6 or 7 spot in the West.
