Lonzo played pretty well in his debut at MSG.

17 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, and a block. And he made 6 of 13 FGA's.

But, a very tough L. Great game though.

76ers aren't very good at drafting.....Noel and the other guy are gone.....and Fultz might be gone withi

Technically, they traded for Noel.
And if they drafted Zinger over Okafor, they probably win too many games and don't land Simmons.

Hinkie's strategy was to tank, acquire as many assets as you can, and hope to hit on a few of them.
For a good read, his resignation letter is one of the best, though you may need to google a few things to truly understand the zeitgeist behind it....

He looked good but Kuzma is the guy, he had 10 big 4th quarter points. The dude has no pressure bc Lonzo is carrying that load of pressure from Lavar LOL

Kuzma is good, no doubt.....but he's reached his max imo. He is what he is.

Lonzo's upside is higher imo.

I get that Lonzo upside is higher. I don't think anyone would disagree there but Kuza reached his max? I'm pretty sure there are several ways he can improve & get even better

He might get a little better but he played 3 years in college.....Lonzo's ceiling is much higher imo.

You act like he's 30.

No...but the good ones come out before he did. Not saying he can't improve, but compared to Lonzo....I think his upside isn't as close.

But, I'm ecstatic he's playing well because where we drafted him......our scouting is legit. Especially, after grabbing Clarky where we took him.

Yes, higher.

But, it's because he's younger and has such a far way to go.

Kuzma playing 3 years certainly give him an advantage.

So does being PHYSICALLY mature.

But, you can't just stuff everyone in that he peaked box.

Had Duncan peaked after his 4 years?

Should the Spurs have taken Antonio Daniels instead for his upside?

How about Lillard?

You act like Kuzma is Tyler Hansborough.

That's a pretty nice game. But ESPN's headline of "Lonzo shines in debut at MSG" seems a little over the time. Talk about grading on a curve.

For the most part, your logic works.

But, You can't put everyone in the same box.

Lillard, Duncan, Steve Nash are examples that prove that point.

Fyi....it's not just because I think Kuz has star potential.

It's more that I don't think Lonzo will be a consensus Allstar.

He will be in the Conley category of really good, not great.

True. I just don't see Kuzma developing like they did. I don't think he's going to be the next Kawhi Leonard.....

Sorry.

I get what you are saying, but I don't think that matters.

If You could pair Ingram with a player like Giannis than that is ideal. Giannis has a greater impact on the game because of his ability to handle the ball and create for others. I don't care who else is on my roster or how bad my bigs are, I am taking Giannis.

I don't know, man. I watched Porzingis twice last night (the game, then the replay of the game). First time I've watched him that close. Dude is the truth. Can shoot from anywhere, has handles, can pass, plays defense....

and he's 7 feet tall. He looks a lot like Dirk to me (love me some Dirk too), only with better defense.

End of the day, can't go wrong with either guy, imo.

I had a pic of me up earlier.....with my dearly departed mom.

I know. Just having fun because of the avi change. Didn't know that was your Mom. Looked like you 2 were pretty close.
