Did you read the article? The defensive improvement is not just the same guys playing above their heads. They added Paul, Mbah a Moute, and PJ Tucker.

They are off to their 3rd best start in franchise history, best since 1996. We don't know how any of this will turn out but you sound like someone who just makes assumptions based on the past and doesn't see what's happening now.

Well if one is making judgments based on HISTORY then that's not assuming. Those things have actually happened. And it's pretty normal to use those facts as a scale of judgment. On the flip side your stance could be viewed as being too quick to believe fools gold.

IMO PG has been the most consistent - and playing TEAM ball. Would you like to guess who's up to his old habits of ISO ball in the last 5 minutes or so of games?

According to Lonzo, that play was also part of his learning process. He had the ball and a wide open look with 7 seconds left.

That's making the better basketball play & IMO a winning mentality. Hopefully he keeps it up.

I honestly laugh at all the "alpha" talk. Many on here post about so and so not being an alpha like it is a bad thing. Yes, there have been a few dominating alpha males who have been transcendent players, but there have also been many who were bad teammates.

You don't have to be an "alpha" to be great, but too many alphas can absolutely hurt chemistry.

Getting minutes may help Okafor regain some value, but he's a terrible fit for the Nets. The Nets are playing very uptempo and just traded for a plodding center who's strength is a post game that slows everything down to a crawl. There's a reason why Okafor only cost a bag of chips from the Sixers.
