Damn it. This sucks. The Lin/D'Lo backcourt had potential to be a lot of fun.

Really sucks about Lin, but many on here have been overhyping this team all summer.

They are still in the conversation for worst team in the league. None of their additions were ever going to make them significantly better. Russell will post numbers, but his game is hollow. Not helping Them win. DeMare Carrol is probably their most impactful player, and that speaks volumes to how bad they are. I do like Crabbe, but he is a role player.

I know it is early, but they just gave up 140 to the Pacers. This could be a historically bad defensive team.

On Mirotic vs. Portis' fist...

As my Dad used to say..."Young bucks are gonna lock horns sometimes."

These 2 did and Mirotic got his ass kicked.

Neither should be punished with anything more than some quality time with the strength and conditioning coach, maybe a fine and being forced to sit together and hold hands on the team bus. Of course, Mirotic's time with the S&C coach would be after he gets his dumb ass out of the hospital.

I am okay with Portis getting suspended.

But, Mirotic should get the same. He started the fight, Portis finished it. Mirotic should not escape financial consequence just because he got beat down. He was every bit as guilty.

Just took a look at the Pelicans box score tonight. Same BS.

33 and 18 for AD. 28,10, and 7 for Cousins. Rest of the team scored 30 points

BTW @tlance , Cousins attempted 9 threes tonight lmfaooo

LOL.

Stretch 5?

Honestly, I know the game is moving that way, but Cousins is too physically imposing to spend that much time behind the 3 point line.

Nothing says butthurt more than booing a player. Especially your own player

I get wanted to express emotions as a fan, but booing your own team is literally the worst thing a fan can do. Nothing is more demoralizing to a player than getting booed by home fans. It is counter productive.

The Pacers also gave up 131 to the Nets. It was just two very bad teams not playing any defense.

Thing is, they were booing him because he got injured. That's just wrong.

Interesting comments to me from Ex-NBA player/Celtics forward Shavlik Randolph, who had similar injury to Gordon Hayward. "It's about a 4-6 month recovery. The ligaments take 6-8 weeks and the tibia was about three months to heal in all the places it broke. Ironically, I had the same injury and as bad as it looks it does heal back to 100 percent and does so surprisingly fast. I think there's a chance he could be back this season if he really pushed it. The team will be cautious to bring him back too fast, but I think he could by the end of the season. Maybe not back to full 100 percent by then, but I wouldn't be shocked if he can and does play."

His agent said it's highly doubtful he comes back this year.

But, I hope he gets back to 100 % before the start of next year.

Jeremy Lin is getting knee evaluated for injuries. So once again he is doing what he does best - little to nothing. LOL fantasy owners who picked him for their line up

You do realize that laughing at a guys misfortune, or injury, is almost as bad as wishing it upon him, right?

* See @HurricaneDij39
You're a classless piece of shit
Harsh.

But, in this instance, yeah.

There's nothing funny about injuries, no matter who it is. Would you be making jokes if that happened to a Laker? My guess is no.
