Durant to the Clips
Again.....you show no signs of understanding how the salary cap works.

Why would the clips set up a meeting knowing they can't sign him. Also there is the possibility of sign and trade. No need to slam Ham for an opinion. Truth be told i think he would fit great with the Clippers
So, @bksballer89 so let me get this straight......you're the only one who can slam Ham as you put it? Recently, you told him hes wrong as usual......
KD needs to come to the Eastern Conference. It'd be better for basketball.
These are the salaries of Los Angeles Lakers players this season
I didn't realize we had close to 70 million available. $55-57 million if Clarkson gets around 13-15 million per season.
That's a lot.
Is this a good idea?
I could see this going the way of Chandler Parsons.
Houston waited on Bosh, Mavs stole Parsons.
Knicks, BUCKS, Lakers, Blazers, Mavs can offer him the Max immediately and still wait for other guys to make a decision.
It appears the Heat wants to determine whether it has a chance to sign Durant before proceeding with Hassan Whiteside, who is lining up meetings (with Dallas and potentially others) shortly after the start of free agency.

That's why I said it was smart of Cuban to offer on day 1.
Does anyone really think Durant doesn't know where he's going already?
I don't think he's coming to Miami this summer, but if he was, he'd want Whiteside.
If that was the case, then Durants people certainly could convey that message to Riley without violating any rules.
22 millionWhat's the max Whiteside can get? 26 million per season?
That would bring the Lakers up to 49 million and 64 million if Clarkson gets 15 million per season.
Would leave us 30-31 million to add to the bench, veterans needed.
Bass probably won't be back.
Maybe look at a Marvin Williams type?
