what? I pointed to the Lopez contract as an example of where the fair market value is for bigs- especiall a big that i dont know anyone who would say he isnear Thompsons skill level.

and the Knicks basically unloaded him as he was one of the only guys that could get the salaries to near match for Rose's huge deal. Who else could the Bulls have even taken to get the salaries to match on a guy making 20 something million a year?

Nope.

Not when they signed him.

You laughed your ass off.

I agree with your logic. That's perfectly fine.

We disagree on what Noah's worth. I just don't see Noah being that guy that he was in Chicago given this past season. Even with the 2017-2018 cap that goes north of $100 million, I still don't see Noah being worth $16 mil per (close to) year given that he looks far and away the guy that he was in Chicago during his hey day.

You realize Biyomobo's looking at 15-18 million a season, right? A healthy Noah is better than Biyombo. I'd go as far as say a lot better.

I disagree. I don't see anything that Noah offers that's better than Beyombo. Outside of out-side shooting (Noah's not that great), I just don't see it.

A healthy Noah 3 years ago.

He probably isn't that anymore.

But, I would take him on a 2 yr deal over Biyombo.

4 years?

Not at big money.

Evan Turner's a good passer.....he would help the ball movement a lot. Barnes doesn't pass so much. Just chucks ugly looking shots.

Yes, but Evan Turner is a horrible outside shooter. He'd be the exact same non-threat as Barnes on the perimeter. Teams would just hedge off him. He'd be a downgrade from Barnes because at least Barnes could guard 4's.

OMG.

You don't have enough outside shooting with Curry, Thompson and Green? Not to mention their bench.

Gasol might be getting up there in age but imo he'd be perfect. Low post scorer, rebounder, passer, and still a fair defender. He even can hit the occasional 3-pointer.

Had Barnes been able to hit the broad side of a barn - Cavs aren't champions. One weak link in the chain that can't be a presence in the pain like Bogut is a significant issue.

So they should keep Barnes? We're debating his replacement here.
