OMG.

You don't have enough outside shooting with Curry, Thompson and Green? Not to mention their bench.

NEVER!

But seriously, I just think Turner is a pretty inefficient player over all. Just my personal opinion. I don't think he's a very good defender either. Doesn't really fill any holes the Warriors have at SF if Barnes leaves.

So they should keep Barnes? We're debating his replacement here.

They should not. The Warriors offense is predicated on players being able to hit their shots and for just about everyone to be able to shoot the 3. Barnes had many wide looks due to the ball movement, and he failed to hit those shots. Turner shot an abysmal 24% from 3 last year and would take away from what the Warriors excel at. With Barnes, teams knew he could hit the 3, but he just couldn't hit his shot. Barnes is also going after the max and he's not worth it from the Warriors perspective. Turner is not a good substitute.

Damn. The Warriors only have 8 players under contract for next season?

That was on just 83 3's.....his career % is 30%. Granted, that isn't great, but he's shot as high as 36.5% from 3. He also averages 5.2rpg and 3.8apg. He's a better passer than Barnes and the Warriors offense is predicated on shooting AND ball movement.

They could start Iggy and bring Turner off the bench. On the 2nd unit, Turner is a pretty solid piece.

Hell, I'd love it if Luke was on the phone trying to recruit Pau to come back and play for him.

I realize Pau doesn't want to go out mentoring the diaper dandies but he'd be good for 15 and 9 imo.

Batum is. He is a pretty good spot up shooter but they really want a center that can score the ball. Could they still afford Batum and get a reliable center, maybe. I guess they still have Bogut but all their big guys are very young (assuming they don't sign Ezeli).

Assuming Batum wants the max, the Warriors would have to get rid of Bogut and not retain Ezeli either.

That's just it. They have to sign a SF and a C, plus re-sign their bench. And Curry will eventually need to be maxed out.

Gasol only need around 800 points to score 20k for his career.

If they don't present a video tribute of how they will celebrate it when he's in a Warriors uniform when they pitch to him in free agency, they're missing out on a big opportunity here...

I just ordered a billboard by Staples Center with Pau's pic on it begging him to come back.

I wanted the Lakers to trade the pick for an established veteran but I'm listening to an interview with Ingram and the media.....he sounds like a vet answering these questions. He sounds pretty down to earth and like he's been here before.

Listening to an interview with the 2nd round pick.....Zubac looks like he has some serious potential......even if he needs some polishing. Not sure if his team has a buyout clause.

With the Warriors picking Damian Jones (6-11), I doubt we see Ezeli suit up for the Dubs. Batum makes the most sense as he's not as expensive as Durant and would transition into the role that Barnes served previously a lot easier than Durant. Don't know how the cap works to fit them in though.
