Now that was a dumbass move by Snisher by signing Barnes when Mack is still out there. I guess Snisher are really shy now about signing FAs but Barnes? Give me a flippin break!!

Coug.. The Eagles signed Daniels because they are not confident that Sammy will last the entire season. They could trade Sammy but then they roll the dice at QB.

idk thats a lot of money for a back up QB.

Yep, I saw that RamsFan88. We settled for Barnes. Not good.

I agree, Mack would have been nice. Hopefully they draft someone to compete or bump Barnes at center.

Not likely, Snead and Fisher are offensively stupid.

You know who else I would be tempted to look at on that list is Morris Claiborne CB Dallas.

Watch Arizona sign him and have a mostly LSU secondary with Honey Badger and Patrick Peterson.

Claiborne would be a nice addition at the right price SJ76. He certainly did not live up to his draft hype in Dallas though.

Actually I don't think Fisher and Snead have don't anything wrong. Didn't overpay for Jenkins or McShort, got ride of extra cap pay in Lil Animal, Long and Cook, signed Hayes and Barron. Signed Barnes as a backup (will draft one of the best probably) and added draft players where we didn't have any. It is early yet but I never panic and look Jenkins if he is good will intercept Bradford 4 times within the division next year. Sorry Coug if Jenkins is that good he will make your boy look bad. I think they both are overpaid.

Yea Blue, Snisher played most of the transactions pretty well. They didn't over-pay for anyone which was excellent, they re-signed the right guys (save Sims who is next), and they aren't running after used up high-priced FAs which they indeed have learned their lessons from previous years. The only boneheaded move is Barnes but as you stated that definitely may be for depth. I hope they get a stud C in the draft.

I think they are going to give Quick the Pead treatment and give him one more chance to live up to his draft hype and actually play like a pro worthy of his salary. If he doesn't come around, out-the-door will be the next move the Rams make.

Yeah, a lot may depend on who is under center throwing the ball to Quick.

Very interested to see if we actually make a play on a FA QB or not.

Yeah, no reason to butcher up this thread Coug.

Let's keep it civil and talk about 'Free Agents' and not far fetched trades...

Obviously that's the market, look at the ridiculous amount paid to QB's that have never done anything!

Yeah Brock's deal is insane. But I guess the Texans were pretty desperate and had to steal him from denver.
