He said he was playing hurt last year. Was he lying? We'll find out. And with his injuries its said he had third most tackles on the team. I've been skeptical of the move myself but we do have Craig Robertson as a backup and no one's talking about him because he was a brown.

He's been on the decline for the past few seasons. He still gets tackles, just further from the line of scrimmage.

Eagles got rid of a back-up safety and he's not too bad. Jerome Couplin. If we are looking for a FA depth this guy might be it since the Witmer deal went sour.

While I agree that the Rams largely skipped out on free agency beyond retaining most of their own guys, I can't say I like much of the players he mentioned. Sanu isn't any better than Britt; would much rather have pursued his teammate Marvin. Boldin is still out there for some reason; surprised nobody has snapped him up yet (is he past the buy by date in most team's eyes)? Wilkerson would've been too expensive in draft capital (and a looming cap space problem next year). I think there were other cheap LBs to take a chance on instead of Shea (like maybe Zach Brown, whom the Bills signed). As far as TE, Green would've been OK, but not my first choice. Of course, the Rams waited until the draft.

Not sure as a starter but Long will find a landing spot on somebody's 53 man roster this year.

Yep, probably so Vita. Don't know if this latest motivation surrounds money (lack thereof) but I am sure some team will need a back-up left tackle at some point in the upcoming season.
