2016 TE Chase Allen Announces Commitment Date, Harbaugh 'Debunks' Nebraska's Pitch

As of Tuesday night, Allen told MnB that he is completely split between three, likely being Michigan, Nebraska, and Iowa State. Harbaugh wasn't too fond of what the Huskers had to say to him.

"He just talked about how tight ends are (actually) used in (Nebraska's) offense," he said. "He wanted to hear all about what Nebraska told me."

With signing day approaching next week, Allen says that he will announce his commitment 'sometime Thursday or Friday.

Yea old hairballs act is getting mighty old eventually kids are going to start seeing it as just ridiculous and it will go from cool too stupid very quick. Especially when he has players commit at these satellite camps and then pulls their scholarship offer 3 weeks before signing day coaches around the country will notice and use that against him in a heartbeat

I don’t think I could have done it without my dad. I would have been committed somewhere back in November. He has been an immense help and he has so many connections with coaches, it’s easy for him to talk to people.

Huge Huge pick up... will be interesting to see if we try to go in home with Alaric Jackson tomorrow to get two OTs in this class. Was absolutely necessary to get one. And Farniok is a really good one to get.
