SF throwing around scholarships and weird deals like candy. is this even legal? why not promise everyone like that? Who's holding him accountable? What happens if Hahn doesn't pan out?

I'm happy for the kid, near my hometown, 8-man guy, so that's pretty cool.

Not a video game, can't just throw out promises and not deliver. That's a way to screw over relationships with local coaches and if you screw over local coaches you are screwed as the HC of Nebraska. It's the way it is. If he's going to promise he needs to deliver. It's a shrewd move, and it is legal. Good for Scott and Co for finding the loopholes for numbers and making them work.

yea, that makes sense. also for folks that are super border line. Hahn is a big example imo. such a small school guy at a position that i'm sure would be easy to over look. How many 8-man guys really become players, Ott at Iowa is one of the few recent guys to come to mind.

Well what's good about that is, from what I read, he wasn't 'turned' by Wiscy. Nebraska actually filled up and told him to do what's best for himself and he moved on. I could be wrong though... I saw it somewhere on twitter.

that's not true, we weren't full and we didn't turn him away. He committed to Wisconsin and never told the Nebraska coaches. Nebraska coaches thought he was N on Saturday because of how their visit went but Kaden never intended to sign with Nebraska.
