In this class there are so many players that I see making huge contributions on the field in the next five years.

Not including the top six that @Footballnut has

Nance, Houston, and Chase. I am excited about all three of them.

Running back Rahmir Johnson that guy is really good.

Luke McCaffrey Nebraska might have a Martinez-McCaffery matchup like Frazier and Berringer or Crouch and Newsome. Obviously, Luke is redshirting in 2019.

Darrion Daniels will play in 2019.

I won't be surprised if Josh Wegener is the starting center either.

Look at the size of the offensive tackles

Bryce Benhart 6' 9" 301 lbs
Michael Lynn 6' 7" 280 lbs
Matthew Anderson 6' 7" 250 lbs
Jimmy Fritzsche 6' 7" 245 lbs

I would have those four guys get off the bus first, and proclaim, these are the true freshmen that are here to play.

Add in the Farnioks, then add in the Davis twins and Darrion Daniels and his brother, Damion. Those are my first ten guys off of the bus every time.

Besides Henrich, throw in the other four Nebraska young men, who will be bleeding red to play at Nebraska and pushing the others to get better or get out of the way; Piper, Snodgrass, Nelson, and Hickman.

Add in all the Nebraska walk-ons, going to be an exciting few years. If Nebraska pulls out a winning season next year(and they should), the train will keep on rolling and pick up steam.

The top 3 on that list are seniors this season. Detlefsen is the only punter we will have next season. Przystup will not be eligible until the 2020 season.

Przystup is applying for immediate eligibility.

Armstrong is good. sorry caleb....

We graduate 5 D lineman after next fall, this helps quite a bit for depth, specially if they can preserve his shirt year. His stats last year at Highland were Suh like numbers for a DT
This also may help with his teammate who has visited Lincoln once, Brian George, one of the top Juco cornerbacks overall for 2020 class

Still working on academics.

You would think that since he could not get into South Carolina because of academics, he would have worked harder this winter spring.

Hopefully, the Nebraska academic system with tutors and whatever else help be needs, gets him here.

He graduated high school in 2017. Cannot find much on him from then.

Looks disruptive, but it also looks like his competition is smaller and not D1 material.

In the Big 10 He just needs to plug that middle and not get shoved around.
Getting to the QB once in a while is just a bonus. That's DE and LB job.
I'd love to see another Rich Glover type NT in my lifetime, but setting that as an expectation is unreasonable.

that's what was a little disappointing about Daniels on Saturday, sure looked like he got shoved down field more than a few times by our 2nd string o-line.

Hard to take anything positive or negative from a scrimmage. Just one public scrimmage at that. I remember many a 'spring game' where someone or one side of the ball looked great going into the next season, but didn't pan out. Frost is an offesive guy, his total offense and scoring offense at UCF led the nation. He's got a 2nd year hot QB (and leader) pulling the trigger. It's quite possible there could be a new culture up front the likes of old pipelines. Don't be surprised if Nebraska is Top 10 in total offense/scoring offense in 2019 and beyond. I'm withholding any judgement of what we saw Saturday until I see them against opponents. They need to win like they should their out of conference games and at least play Ohio St close for me to believe they've taken the next step competitively.

quite a few articles on this...

Juco RB Mills close to joining Husker program, per source

Nebraska RB Signee Dedrick Mills Says He Has The Grades To Enroll

Congrats to Dedrick Mills on achieving his GPA goal. My guess, his major will be general studies.

What can I do with a General Studies Degree?

I am sure all colleges have this but I just grabbed a link from U of Arizona on what a general studies degree is.

At those highly educational schools, like Texas, it is called Undeclared. Freshman on the team(for the most part) don't have majors, yet, but they will become Undeclared as a sophomore.

2019 Football Roster - University of Texas Athletics

Anthony Cook - Undeclared Sophomore
Caden Sterns - Undeclared Sophomore
Ryan Bujhevski - Undeclared Sophomore
Joshua Moore - Undeclared Sophomore
Cameron Dicker - Undeclared Sophomore
D'Shawn Jamison - Undeclared Sophomore
Demarion Overshown - Undeclared Sophomore
Joseph Ossai - Undeclared Sophomore
Taquan Graham - Undeclared Junior
Brennan Eagles - Undeclared Sophomore

Which is understandable. As a freshman, I had no clue what I wanted to do other than engineering.
