A 4 star OT in South Dakota is a bona fide 5 star top 15 player in the country. Flat out. Straight up.

4 star according to 247.

As we have all learned though, Rivals is much more accurate than 247.

It has been well-documented in team results.

He looks great......but like I said, we already know that Rivals doesn't lie. Let's see how it plays out. I don't get excited anymore over 3-stars. It's a waste of my time. A complete waste of my time.

I kind of like Allen more than Fant at this point. Fant needs too much attention

DB has a huge preference for metro kids. He's mad we haven't offered more. I don't trust his evaluation of talent for Omaha kids because he thinks they're all great, even when their only offers are to FCS schools.

I'm actually pretty good with the way this class is turning out. Just playing along and you know I'm not one to pour Kool-Aid.
Turn the 3 stars into 4 stars and have them play sharp if you want me to pour the Kool-Aid.

I don't doubt that DB wants to think we prefer Fant but we don't, Allen or bust IMO and that's looking better. As for those pretending like Farniok isn't a good get, he's a composite 4-star which is probably the most accurate rating of all of them. US Army-All American and had a lot of the top tier teams offer him but he wanted to stay in the midwest and in the B1G footprint. A very good pick up.

He's the biggest pick up outside of POB as far as I'm concerned.

Landing Matt was huge for this team, we desperately needed OTs, also puts us in great position for younger brother Will coming in 18, who is said to be the best of the whole clan. The previous staffs loss of A.Peat effects can still be felt on the current roster. This staff put in a lot of work with Matt and it paid off in the end, just because it's Soiux Falls doesn't mean we're on lockdown coverage there, we've lost out on some goods ones recently
