UM commit Kingston Davis.... Committed a long time ago but if Kareem Walker goes to UM and they already have RB Falcon..... Davis will be the odd man out.

Whatever Minnesota recruits were at the Nebraska Minnesota game, they had to be impressed by the Cornhusker fans that were at the game.

Hopefully something like that, can impress a kid.

I was wondering if Spielman made it to the game. He's already committed, but it's always good to make sure that stuff is locked up.

Heard on Big Red Wrap-Up that Spielman did indeed go to the Minnesota game to watch Nebraska play

Sounds like we are starting to go after some committed guys...and not committed as in they are committed to Weatern Kentucky or some crap like that. Michigan, LSU, and Tennessee

He had to be impressed by the Husker Crowd and how the offense was ran.

What I really wonder, is did any actual MINNESOTA GOLDEN GOPHER recruits notice?

well, the immediate impact is one thing. Also, read this article which i thought was great and i think all fans need to read and just think about.

basically save your bitching for after the game and make the recruits that come in feel like we are supporting the team even if we are down by 20 to MSU or Iowa. It could really help for next year and getting the depth this team so desperately needs.

from what I understand it's just a bunch of the commits saying they still are committed to Nebraska. It's something you write and publish to calm a fan base.

What would really help is actually winning games. I know people say recruits don't care about wins etc. etc. but they do.

Mike Riley said they got a commitment from a player today at his press conference... not sure who.

Yeah. He was all excited about whoever it is.

It better not be another "Best of the Rest" Mid-Major to receive that kind of difference making praise.

There's an old saying in business. "Under-Promise and Over-Deliver".

From the day this staff came on-board it has been "Over-Promise and Under-Deliver".

Hence the state of the program. People don't like being LIED to.

Yes... Some "Nice" people tend to be some of the biggest lying frauds out there.
