By the way, not sure if anyone else posted this so if they did my apologies, but Nebraska is hosting a HUGE visitor this weekend in 4-star DT out of Texas named Jordan Elliott. He has offers from the who's who of college football. The Texas Longhorns seem to be the team to beat, he's visited there 7 times but if they continue to suck and we get better we could make a move. He seems wide open and we're his first visit, but he's likely going to take all 5 visits and will likely not decide until after his senior season... maybe even signing day.

Jordan Elliott, Westside , Defensive Tackle

I don't know about that. Grimm flipped from Boise to Nebraska a week ago. The only RB on their commit list currently is a 3-star by the name of Damerea Crocket... good player... but no Nebraska offer.
Saw it mentioned on HOL that there was "chatter" about him but it looks like we haven't contacted him much lately. Maybe with Thomas possibly leaving they will reach out again.

Not yet, things have been a bit quiet on that front... at this point I'm wondering if we let Quayshon Alexander choose if he wants to be a DE or a LB. We've recently reached out to a kid named Hamilcar Rashed who's an interesting case. His academics are an issue apparently, but could be resolved. Had 20 sacks a season ago and is off to a good start to his senior campaign as well.

Stands at 6'4" 215 lbs and can run well. Laveen Cesar Chavez HS is in 5A the highest classification of HS football in the state, so he's not playing against scrubs either. It will be very interesting to watch how we recruit him. If he gets his act together academically, he could be a HUGE steal out of the state. Made 1st team all-state as a Junior.

His recruitment has been really weird... a lot of teams backed off of late. Not sure why. Big get for Wisconsin... we were never really in it. You can thank the previous staff for that. He camped twice at Nebraska and left without an offer both times. Sour taste in his mouth from those experiences. New staff came in and he wouldn't give them the time of day.

Visited Michigan last weekend for their huge 38-0 shutout of Top 20 Northwestern.

I don't blame him. These guys are going to go to places where their chances of winning are the highest. Where they think they'll get the best coaching.

By all appearances, it looks like Michigan and Nebraska are going different directions.

Not official yet but certainly doesn't look good for Nebraska. However, things could change if Nebraska starts winning games and Michigan starts to lose a few. I think Michigan comes crashing back down to reality against Michigan State this weekend.

LB Jaleel Laguins might be the next commit.
4* out of GA
would love to see it... but just can't see it. Committed to home town Georgia, likes Nebraska but the pressure to stay at Georgia likely wins out. Never count out Bray though.
