2nd set to Federer.
Much better tiebreak this time around but that point was critical just now
I can always count on Isner to disappoint me.....never fails
It's not that he dropped the first set. It is the 7-0 in the tiebreak that ticks me off. Losing 7-4 or something.....put up a fight and make fed work for the set in that tiebreak
For a guy who does not break serve much at all, Isner does a poor job of winning tie breaks. When you're a player like Isner who has a lot of trouble breaking serve you gotta do well in the tiebreaks
Not mad at isner. Only the 7-0 tiebreaker disappointed me but excluding that he played well and made fed work for this win
What is the difference? I am not so sure, but I think Vika's grunts are pretty much consistent.
Azarenka's shriek is legitimate and helps her with consistent timing. She'll cut it short when she mishits it because a mishit throws off her timing anyways and she needs to readjust. You can tell Azarenka's shriek is legitimate because she does it when she hits in practice. Certain other players (cough Sharapova cough) don't.
He actually has the 2nd highest active career tiebreak %.
He just can't win them against the top players.
I can't find a link to the current stats, but they show them during just about every Isner match.
FED is # 1 all time in active career tiebreak %.
So we had a match with 2 of the top tiebreak players for their active careers.
I was happy to see the gap toothed Serbo-Frenchie bite the dust.
And Cilic is schooling Tsonga.
So who's listening to all the shittalk from McEnroe and company?? Yakitty. Yak yak... Why are tge viewers subjected to this nonsense and a venus serena countdown clock when there is probably live tennis being played on some courts?? Is this tennis or the WWF?? Do we need all the drama and the "empty calories" yakitty yak?? This is why US sucks in real tennis.
