Nice resolve by Anderson to hold for a 4-3 lead.

One game away from the most pressure in men's tennis outside of the 5th set tiebreak at the US Open.

The pressure in the 4th set tiebreak for the guy down 2 sets to 1 is absolutely ridiculous.

Not sure what he got left for Stan though. It is likely to be in the day session on Wednesday and it is supposed to be in the low 90's on that day.

I got Stan in straights

Anderson with a great return in the 4th set tiebreak to take a 3-0 lead.

Anderson with the shutout 7-0 in the tiebreak! And against Murray too. You never see a top player like Murray get shut out in a tiebreak.

After 7 career major 4th rounds, he finally gets to the QF.

Stan hasn't played a big server in a while.

If Anderson can serve like he did today, he could win 1-2 sets.

But Wawrinka is a little better at producing winners on the run, than Murray is. That should be an advantage, and why I think an upset of Wawrinka is more unlikely.

As for the session, FED or Isner will be in the night session on Wednesday, they're the biggest names. FED biggest name, Isner biggest American.

So yeah, that means Stan and Anderson in the day session.

If Monfils was still in, I could see a night session for him.

I can actually see them putting Isner on in the day if he wins. Isner basically never gets the spotlight. He's only on Ashe because of who he is playing.

We're an Isner hold away from a 1st set tiebreak.

Hmm, interesting observation.

Yeah its true though. Unlike Roddick who was a lock for Ashe, Isner is usually on Armstrong unless it is the 2nd week of the tourney/playing a top opponent

I can always count on Isner to disappoint me.....never fails

It's not that he dropped the first set. It is the 7-0 in the tiebreak that ticks me off. Losing 7-4 or something.....put up a fight and make fed work for the set in that tiebreak

That was pretty disappointing. Isner had a 4 or 5 chances to break just down and failed
