2 hold of serves in this set.

Lisicki was down 5-3 and was able to break and hold serve to even the set at 5

Not Patrick McEnroe, for what it's worth.

He likes Halep over Azarenka in a head-to-head, but says Azarenka would give Serena a better test if they were to meet.

But when you are written off as not able to make it to the semis how is it possible even to face Serena in the finals?

More of a fear inspiring grunt than a high endless shriek.

I still don't get the fact Azarenka cuts it short when the shot fails but lets it trail on almost to the opponent returning it if the shot is good. It's supposed to be about power isn't it? Not whether the shot is in or not?
What is the difference? I am not so sure, but I think Vika's grunts are pretty much consistent.

I know. He is playing better than he has ever played and his passing shots are a beauty.

Yeah as Gilbert said he needs to keep this momentum up and try to set a small goal of being seeded at the Aussie Open in January

I feel bad for those guys waiting to see Murray on Armstrong.

They won't ever get in. Nobody is leaving Armstrong.

Fans are dumb. As a groundpass holder if the schedule is good you cannot leave Armstrong until all the matches you want to see are complete

I guess I didn't hear the comments that she was written off that much to reach the SFs, this past week.

He does get negative and get mad at himself during a match, a lot.

Kevin Anderson wins the 1st set in a tiebreaker over Murray with great shotmaking.

Anderson with a great passing shot pseudo lob to get the break.

He's up 2-0 in the 2nd set.

You need to go back to the so-called experts pick and the commentary by espn experts or pundits. None of them picked Vika Azarenka.

Just because they did not pick Azarenka to win the tournament doesn't mean they did not expect her to go far.

So since most of the ESPN experts predicted Novak to win the title, that means they expected Federer to get eliminated early? Your logic makes no sense

9 of the 12 experts on ESPN listed Azarenka as the darkhorse which means they expected her to make a deep run and the only 2 people who did not pick Serena to win the title picked Azarenka to win the title.

As I said before quit making shit up

US Open - Serena heavy favorite to win last leg of season Slam
