This is the first year since I started going to the Open where I actually regret not buying tickets for Ashe.....Oh well lesson learned

And I am getting tired of the love affair Canuckistan has with Barbie Bouchard. I watch her "cooking" Pinty's frozen foods in endless commercials and she looks as authoritative with a chopping knife in her hand as she does on a money serve....

partly because i empathize, but mostly because the matches tend to just not be very good

Tsonga did look good and I kinda expect him to beat Cilic but man some terrible matches today.

It's a shitty proposition either way for Venus.

Yet, I think Venus enabled Serena to relatively easily dispose of Keys. Big hitter for practice.

And Venus won't have anything new for Serena.

I alluded to it over on the other thread, but it would not surprise me if she fainted.

She has lost a lot of weight and played a singles and doubles (mixed?) match that day.

I saw a picture of her in an evening dress recently and her ribs were showing like a crack hoor's Maybe too caught up in the "glamour" side of tennis after being asked last year to give a "twirl" by an announcer?

I've been wrong before and I may be now. But a party line spin on things is not unheard of.

It was late, and the women's locker room was dark, so Bouchard felt around to find the light. According to the source, there was water on the floor, and Bouchard slipped, falling backward and landing on the back of her head. She went to the emergency room that night. After she was released, there was concern that playing a tennis match would not help her recovery and that she needed rest, the source said.
