The Cards are more than willing to trade Fitzgerald - $12M cap hit. You interested? A 2nd round pick? He'd be REAL good w/ Maclin & Matthews, I think. Get the holes filled in free agency. I'd do it.

I'd would have no interest in that.

ya think SF will give up on Kap yet?

I would be lookin into it.

The new coach coming in would have to run the O to his strengths (Meaning not a drop back traditional offense). He's gonna have to run a read option type of O.

So depends on who the FO brings in for their coach.

While I think Chip will explore trading up, I see no realistic shot at Mariota.

Trade Nick Foles and our first rd pick to New England for Tony Garoppolo....Now ya don't have to trade a ton of picks and a young stud player. Tony G in Philly!
Absolutely no f-in way. Im not giving up a 1st round pick for anyone not already established. Foles and a 3rd? Im with that, but no, id rather trade foles for a late pick and draft petty.

Because clearly our First rd picks have been phenomenal..... Tony Garoppolo was a second rd pick by the Patriots, and many Patriots fans were already calling for Garoppolo when Brady struggled early this year. This kid is good.

How good is he??? Well the Patriots have one of the greatest Qb's of all time yet the Pats used a very valuable 2nd rd draft pick on this kid. Tells me a lot.

Kaepernick would really excel in an offense like this. I loved him as a prospect and wanted him here back then, and I still would take a chance on him now. Harbaugh is outta there and maybe the new coaching staff will try to trade Kaep to get their own guy in the draft. Someone who fits their offense - Kaepernick proved to struggle as a pure pocket passer, there's a few offenses that suits him and the best is ours.

Yeah, you're right. I don't think he can get separation anymore, at least against good DBs, as evidenced tonight. Hard to tell v.s Seahawks though. They're back to where they left off last year. Just thinkin'.

Foles turned into Kevin Kolb. Then got a separated shoulder. He looked like garbage this season & he really wasnt as good as his numbers indicated in 2013.

My QB wishlist...

1. Mariota - Probably takes (3) #1s & Foles or (2) #1s & F.Cox
2. Kaepernick - Probably takes at least a #1 & #3.
3. Hundley - Probably have to use our 1st rounder.

I hope Sanchez & Foles are not back in 2015, unless they are backups.

Sucks cause we could have just drafted R.Wilson with the Vinny Curry pick & right now we would be looking at the playoffs instead of the off season. Howie & co. totally fked that up. Its why I always say..you see a player you love, dont play around. Draft him!!!

Forget Mariota... Tampa Bay needs him as much as we do. We have no shot.

That I wouldnt dismiss because they may like Foles. L.Smith is an older coach. he may want a more prototypical QB.

Cutler, Foles....who knows.

Main reason I say we have a shot at Mariota is because he isnt a Luck, PEyton type. He could be viewed by some as only good in CHips type of Offense. Look at all the trouble RG3 has had.

Zero shot at Mariota you are just setting yourself up for disappointment. Plus if there is than less than a 1/2 percent chance Tampa entertains the idea of the trade, you set the frachise back 4-5 years with the amount you ahve to give up to get him. Its simply not feasible.

Now maybe you get Hundley in round 2, but is he really an upgrade over Foles?
