I feel way more confident moving forward right now than I would if I were a Devils fan.

If I were Louie Lams ... Id hire someone to go Tonya Harding on Crampy Schneiders knee ... dont kill the guy just rough him up a bit

2 bad seasons as opposed to 48  :pound: Devils dropped the ball on kovy but vanderbeek is gone now. They'll be fine already rebuilding with a great start. Solid future goalie to replace a hall of famer, great young foundation on offense and defense and using the deadline to set up for the future

now is when benning swoops in with Bieksa!!! DO IT SIR BENNINGTON!
He's only got one more season left on his deal, no? Why the big fuss. Not like he'll fetch anything and I doubt that Vancouver is contending for anything next season. Hell, judging by the prices this deadline he might have some really good value this time next year.

Saw this elsewhere, analysis of the moves between three teams this year.

To CBJ: Clarkson, Morin
To Toronto: Horton, Erixon
To Chicago: Nothing

Holy shit did Chicago win that.

The Devils have the highest average age in the NHL, even after trading away Jagr. Not sure where this "great young foundation" is coming from, or how they're "setting up for the future" by acquiring a second round pick for their only tradeable asset. But good luck anyway; I'm sure with fans as delusional as yourself it won't be too hard for them to impress.

hes old, decrepid, overpriced and canucks need players in the 20-25 age space if not draft picks

Im sure some team back east can be sucked in by Kasual Kevs "leadership" qualities
