Could happen. But again I wouldn't read too much into it. What is he going to say? Armstead sucks and the 49ers aren't interested.

I doubt it will be him since Balke never picks who is predicted....Why do I think Kentwan Balmer when I think of Arik. I think from what I have read that Arik would be fine as a 6th or 7th round pick who is a bottom of the roster guy who would be useful for a couple of years an then disappear from Football.

Iupati was a pretty common prediction for us in 2011. Though that was arguably a "McCloughan draft." I agree, though, I would be very surprised if Armstead is the pick.

I think we should look into Fletcher Cox for a 3rd or 4th round pick! Nearly a ProBowl player adds great depth

I trust Baalke. He has done a nice job in the draft so for most part I will be happy with the draft. Just don't pull a rabbit out your hat with a reach pick and don't draft Armstead. Thats all I ask. The good thing about this draft BPA might actually be a need pick also.
