at least we have some game equity, in that we've played the fewest amount.

It's hard not to watch the standings and think about getting fucked again.... Our division... It's gonna suck if we can't stay ahead of Chicago or Nashville, only to slide from 4th to 7th or 8th, when you got those teams out in the Pacific Division not doing anything noteworthy.

I have a feeling that the Central Division will snap up all of the Western Conference wild cards.

Honestly we have no excuse to not finish ahead of teams anymore. Its time to build off the last 3 years. Weve got a healthy lead on all behind us. And 2 pts behind Blues with 3 in hand. Also can tie with LA(who wont lose) and close on Dallas.

Its time to secure a few home playoff series.

Yeah yeah yeah... we had nothing going on offense. Pittsburgh controlled both ends of the ice. that second goal Dubnyk gave up was ugly. Rather than just cover the puck or push it to the corner, he just let it slide by and it bounced right off the boards. Easy centering pass... goal. Fuck an A. Maybe I could see it better from our vantage point, but a complete lack of judgment IMO. Oh well. At least you guys are playing better for your new coach.

Tough 2OT loss to the Lightning tonight. Minny was just barely hanging on through the first two periods, but came storming back in the 3rd to make a game of it.

Losses against lesser teams like this on the road, are frustrating, though.

Are the lightning really a lesser team? Maybe in record right now but thats a damn good sqaud who made the finals.

The disappointing thing to me is 1. it took til the 3rd period to really show up again(happens too often) and 2. while we didn't lose in OT for a change, we once again didnt win...then lost in a SO. So annoying.

All in all. We got 3 pts on this road trip already out of 4 in the 2 toughest games on paper. So lets get 2 tomorrow and its a great long weekend.
