I hate the early part of the season scheduling. Why do they have 4 days off after playing just 2?!?!?

We had the same shit happen last year too.

Nothing more annoying than see yourself down the standings being undefeated. SMH.

Not playing too well so far but we are 3-0.

These next two will be tough. Then a tough stretch with a lot at home. Fucking western conference.

The good: we are 5-2-1 with only 3 home games. We have shown some resiliency in games. Parise looks great and the PP is better.

The bad. Keumper just sucks so Dubynk can't be rested in back to back against good divisional/conference foes. We really hAvent played that well(ducks Saturday our only complete team game). Our conference is loaded.

Lots to improve. We are a legit threat again. Can we start to take the next step?

I wouldn't say that Kuemper sucks... just yet. He stopped 35 shots in the 2-1 OT loss.

He's sucked for a few years now. This is his problem he can completely take you out of any game. It's like handing over free wins when Dubynk doesn't play on a back to back road game against divisional competition.

Doobs lets in some softies, but it doesn't snowball.

And we just play better hockey.

Averted disaster with a late flurry vs the Oilers. Still not playing great but man we are looking even more explosive this year which is awesome as we get more comfortable this year.

But man this schedule just does not let up!! Another back to back and the teams are cream of the crop again!!!

I really hate the scheduling. After this B2B, they have 4 days off.... look out into December and January, and they have stretches of 4 in 6 nights, or 3 in 4. It makes no damn sense.

Can't let an opportunity like this slip away. Being outside the top 3 at the end of the season in the division again, would prove costly. I know it's early to be watching points, but it is what it is.

Honestly with how stacked this conference is there isn't anything wrong with that. Gotta win these types of games.

I mean Anaheim and Calgary have fallen back from last year so far. But the Stars(as I feared) and the Kings(surprise, surprise) have risen.

It's always gonna be a dog fight to get anywhere in the top 8. The teams may change a bit, but there will always be at least 10 legit ones for 8 spots,

Tense game last night. Chicago kept battling back. Lucky to hang on for the win. I was afraid of that, after how Chicago has struggled to score so far this season.

Need Dubs to still get more consistent.

Our offense is explosive right now.

Parise is Parise. Koivu is on a pts tear and his whole line looks good. Coyle and Vanek look excellent this year and with Graovac it will let Coyle play wing. And all this is without pommer scoring a ton so far. Love our weapons.

I know basically are always saying this with our schedule but these next 4 games are crucial again with no Parise.

Jets and then 3 road games with one being divisional rival Dallas and Pitt is always hard. Hurricanes won't be a push over but a game we gotta have.
