With their win tonight, the NY Knicks matched their win total from all of last season

I think what I said is that the Heat are clearly one of the also-rans that I think will get around the 6th seed and make good cannon fodder for the Cavs in the playoffs.

I said the Heat still suck at shooting the ball, have a ton of old injury prone players, a roster that is slow and mismatched and they offer no real threat to the elite teams in the NBA.

Nothing has changed.

But hey!!!! I think you guys will make the playoffs in the East this year!!!!! YAAAAAYYY!!!

Unless the Heat suffer some pretty serious injuries to some starters, I think it is safe to say they're going to be a top 4 seed. If we stay healthy I only see the Cavs and Bulls definitely finishing ahead of us. Atlanta and Toronto can also but I don't see both passing us. At worse they're a 4th seed if they stay healthy. They have performed much better on the road than any Heat fan imagined.

They do not suck at shooting the ball. They suck at shooting 3's. There is a difference. They're the 4th best shooting team from the field in basketball.

I would LOVE to see a Boston/Heat series or a Pacers/Heat series first round. I think both would knock out the Heat. -especially if Boston can parlay its substantial assets into a semi-elite player around the deadline.

Haven't seen enough of the Heat/Boston to make that assumption. Boston is also extremely inconsistent that I can see them possibly missing the playoffs. Indy is not a great match-up for us but I think we'll win a long series for us if we have HCA

uhhhhh...id much rather have vogel or stevens than spoelstra- vogel is seriously carlisle 2.0 and stevens is the best young coach to come into the NBA in years in my opinion.

Boston is tough. They are deep, play well as a team and have an edge, not to mention- a TON of assets to make upgrades, financial flexibility etc. If they made the playoffs last year I see them making it this year relatively easily- especially with the fall of the Bucks....all though Charlotte, Pacers, and even the Bricks are much improved.

I'll take Spo over either guy in a best of 7 series especially over Vogel. Vogel has shown me nothing when it comes to making the necessary adjustments in a best of 7 series. Spo on the other hand showed me a lot of on the fly adjustments in a series. I don't think there's anyone out there who watched NBA basketball in the last 5 series who would ever take Vogel over Spo in a series. He is actually a really bad coach in the playoffs

Spo couldnt get the Heat to the playoffs last year in a pretty putrid East when he had a lead- and "supposed" "elite" players like Dwade, Whiteside, Dragic etc...down the stretch....

like i said so many times- when you lose ground on the Celtics- who traded half their team away last year including their 2 best players, when you lose ground on the Pacers- who were missing BY FAR their only high level elite player along with all their other issues- i think that was pretty clear that vogel and stevens outcoached spoelstra and did MORE WITH LESS.

I think thats where i go here- Vogel and Stevens both did more with less last year. Thats undebatable. Without LeBron, Spoelstra has proving exactly NOTHING except he couldnt keep last years sinking ship from foundering.

Yeah because not like the Heat had injuries or anything last year and were missing their most important player for the entire 2nd half of the season.......

Spo led a team with Wade and a bunch of nobodies to 48 wins the year before Lebron signed but yeah he's proven nothing lol.

You're the only clown who doesn't realize had a ridiculous amount of injuries last year. They were talking Bill Walker and Mike Beasley at one point last year. That tells you all you need to know about last season. Vogel did more with less how? Who else were Indy missing outside of Paul George? Boston had a lot of quality players on their team and traded for 2 more at the deadline. It is sad that you're too slow to realize that the insane amount of injuries had a significant impact on the Heat season last year.

The Heat missed the playoffs by 1 game last year with Bosh missing 48 games and Wade missing 20. Their top 2 players missed 68 total games last year. Are you that stupid to realize that not only would have made the playoffs if those guys were healthy but it wouldn't have been close. They would have clearly finished with a better record than the 6,7, and 8 seeds last year.

That Orlando team is a mixed bag of mismatched parts.....the fact they are over .500 is a miracle.

“At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter how many games Kyrie played. He’s an All-Star player,” James said. “That’s not a question. He’s, if not the best, one or two best point guards in our league along with Steph. So, I mean, that’s not even a question. And he continues to just show why he’s that. But I think, and I’m going to continue to harp on it, he’s much more than just an All-Star. He’s much better than that. I think he’s 23-years old. He hasn’t even scratched the surface yet.”

Robin Lopez goes 9/12 for 19 points...but dont worry- whiteside didnt guard him...lol....i mean why would he guard the opposing center and get totally outplayed on his home court?

just saying- for every Dallas game- there are games like this.

Kevin Love has really dropped off since his great November, shot under 40% for December and under 30% from 3. Not surprised that with Kyrie back his point total has gone down but I thought he'd at least be efficient with his shots.
Kyrie is not deserving to be an all star right now. The Cavs have around 20 games left before the ASG though, if he can put up good numbers in that time and not miss much if any time then it's possible. I don't know what the return was for ASG voting but I'd expect the fans to vote him in even if Lowry deserves it more.

He's played in about 100 NBA games and a 5th of those he barely played in with the Kings. Whiteside still has stuff to work on and I'm sure he'd tell you that, but he's shown the ability to be a great shot blocker and rebounder. I doubt he'll ever be a #1 guy on a team or at least on a contending team, but he'll get paid good money to be some teams rim protector. He still has the maturity issue that could be a problem so he'll need to stick with a team that has good veteran leadership.

And when is the last time the Cavs accomplished that without James being on the roster?

He was also injured to at least some extent, but gave it a go.
Clearly not 100%.
But, keep commenting on games that you didn't watch, it just pads your resume of idiocy.
