It sucks the Kings got Whiteside right out of college where he was still way too immature and in a bad spot that lacked the veteran leadership Miami has now. He's looking like a stud, maybe not a #1 guy but at the least could be the anchor of a defense with his shot blocking. We just saw what DeAndre Jordan got from the Clippers for being a shot blocker who can finish the alley oop, and Whiteside might have more offensive potential.

Whiteside is better than DeAndre. Better shot blocker and his offense is clearly more reliable. Only thing Jordan has over him is he's a better rebounder.

I'd be happy with either of them. Whiteside has more potential imo but could be more of a problem with maturity, if he stays with/goes to a team that has guys like Bosh and Wade to keep him in check he's the obvious choice.

I'm pretty sure nobody doubted that they COULD play together, but if Mosgov wasn't playing like crap(at least compared to how great he played last year with the Cavs) Thompson would still be on the bench because he normally plays the same position as Kevin Love. I don't think a couple of starts next to Love will justify giving TT that big contract as the 2nd PF on the team.

Mozgov has been terrible and the Cavs other good options at C are ????

It's not like Tristan has been that great, but out of the 2, Tristan should be playing more minutes.
You act like it is some great battle where Blatt has good options by mixing and matching.

Cavs would KILL to have a stud like Whiteside.

And, not sure on this one, but don't Cavs have a move they can make from Haywood trade?

I know that's what's insane. Looks better than the other way around at least lol with 40 in 1st half 2 in second.

He does that a lot. Pacers games he had like 5 at half. Finished with 28 and a GW.

This is why Whiteside is going to make a lot of money this summer. He can dominate and have a huge impact on a game without scoring much. Tonight he only had 6 points but his 13 boards and 6 blocks had a huge impact on the game

Gutty win for Miami tonight. Down 18 with no Whiteside and came back to win in OT.

21-13. Miami did not win game #21 until February 1st last season. Only had 22 wins going to the AS break
