if i were to guess right now?

hmmm...im thinking like 3 years 52 million.....but- i think its extremely hard to guess right now. I think the playoffs will play a huge roll in that- and whether he can keep himself from doing something overtly stupid from now until July.

If he can do what Thompson did last year- and prove that he can come up big and be relied upon in the playoffs- i think he will get a very nice payday...but thats far from a guarantee at this point.

I hope you're right, cause then he'll still prob be a Heat player.

I think more though.

And stop with the Tristan comparisons.
He was offered nothing, by anyone. That is fact.
LeBron got him near 2x his value. That is also fact.

Gutty win by Heat.
They are impossible to handicap.

when Whiteside averages a double double in multiple rounds of the playoffs come back and say something.....all though- im sure Whiteside probably has averaged a double double in the Lebanese league he was playing in...

tristan thompson was being lauded by anyone watching those games as playing great and EARNING himself a big payday...i know you were probably too bitter to watch- but its true.

The Heat who according to Wiggy who "doesn't look a whole bunch better than last year" just won their 28th game. Last season win #28 came on March 9th but they don't look a whole bunch better lol

Whiteside would have no problem avging a double double in the playoffs. He is one of the best rebounders in basketball.

When Tristan does anything without James, come back and say something.
If Whiteside played with James, he'd look like Wilt.

When announcers can offer him contracts, let me know.
Fact is 29 other owners/GMs did not.

Whiteside per 36 rebounding numbers: 14 RPG. Last year his per 36 rebound avg was at 15.2
Thompson per 36 rebounding numbers: 12.2 RPG (which is career best)

Last of my concerns in a playoffs series would be Whiteside getting his points, rebounds, and blocks

FTR Tristan has never avg a double-double during the regular season of his career. Whiteside did it last year and is going to do it again this year.

Nice to do it in a short series but Whiteside is clearly the better player. Only idiots would debate otherwise

Whiteside is the biggest false stats guy going in the NBA right now. Not only that- but he is an unreliable liability.

you dont win with that type of player. That will become VERY clear to you guys come this spring.

Tristan was also forced to play many more minutes in the playoffs because of all the injuries, but his stats really didn't go up in proportion.

Whitesides stats projected over 36 would easily trump any Tristan stats, and that is without the padded stat factor of playing with LeBron.

And really Wiggy, if I watched?
I watched them all.
You're the pussy who turned off the Warriors beat down of the Cavs after 1 qtr a couple weeks ago.

How is he the biggest false stats guy? How is he an liability?

The game changed as he was in the game. The Mavs players were pissing their pants to go in the paint while he was in the game

shit! winning those 4 in a row- and 3 on the road is just about the best stretch the heat have had this season and it was without the guy.....

and those January stats?--- they are based on 10 games- since he missed all those games in January---- and was just listening to haberstroh- and the 2 games where the Heat were the best defensively- and this is what he said- were when the Mavs were hungover on New years day- and a couple days later on the 3rd when the Wizards played with 7 guys and scored 75 points!!! lol....

he is just so totally the biggest fake impact stat guy going in the league today...it cracks me up.

No Heat fan has ever claimed that any Heat player was better than James.
No Heat fan has ever said the Heat would win a playoff series vs the Cavs this year.

A Cavs /Heat series has what to do with the idiocy of saying Tristan is better then Whiteside?
It really isn't even close.

Find one other person who posts here, that would rather have Tristan.

ya know why he doesnt get those minutes despite how good you say he is? because that type of player isnt a full time player in the NBA anymore- unless your Andre Drummond--- Bogut- Mozgov- 2 guys the elite teams in the league use to matchup- but these guys- LIKE whiteside- get minutes around the mid twenties usually! why? because you cant have a center who cant move on defense play against all these smaller lineups in the NBA- that is UNLESS the guy is just too awesome to take off the court-- and OBVIOUSLY THAT AINT WHITESIDE
